How do I access the Xbox One Cloud to delete game save files? Thanks.

Have you had any trouble using Steam? I haven't. They use a similar style of technology.

I've never damaged a USB personally but the HDD's can and do fail. They have moving parts remember. I've also had data on USB corrupt before just from general use.

If the DLC was on disc it would be a probability to have the access key available through the cloud. DLC would need to be streamed somehow because of the size of it. I'm thinking something along the lines of OnLive here (though I'm aware it's a different type
of service). The only way I can think of viably is redownloading it, or using a USB. We'll soon find out though.

I get what you are saying. That's actually a big plus for cloud and another example of corrupt data on USB..

I would have thought that transferring them over the internet would have been more likely to corrupt them than a local transfer.

What issues did Reach have with saves on a USB? I kept mine on one for a while and never encountered any trouble.

The only issue I could see from having your profile and saves on a USB while gaming at a friend's house would be if that 360 were flagged for a ban and was corrupting the data that way.

You can delete a save locally AND on the cloud, but you cannot delete directly from the cloud. The cloud will upload and sync the most recent save from your console. See the steps below for deleting game save files. If there is something that you're trying
to figure out with the saves post back here. If managing cloud saves is a feature you would like added, I would suggest up-voting one of the threads and the
feedback site.

1. On Home, select My games and apps.
2. Highlight the game, press the Menu button on your controller, and then select Manage game.
   
3. Scroll to the right, highlight the saved data for your gamertag under Saved Data, and then press A on your controller.
   
4. You'll be prompted to confirm deletion of this game save data:
   • Delete from console will remove the local copy of this save. You can retrieve it from the cloud the next time you play.
     
   • Delete everywhere will remove your saved data from this console, the cloud, and all other consoles you play on.
     
   • Cancel will leave your data intact.

 

I tried that and it doesn't show Delete Everywhere. What I'm trying to do is start a new game of Diablo 3 and there's no New Game option in the game menu and when I think I've deleted the game save file and when I load the game again it keeps on syncing
the game save back into the game again.

 

I'm not sure if Diablo uses Battle.net to save profile items, but I don't think it does like Overwatch. That said, do this to delete your local AND cloud saves. Doing this will delete
ALL your saves, and you'll need to start over with everything.

1. From home go to My Games and Apps in the top right.

2. Select Games

3. Select the Diablo Tile "do not click, just put square on it"

4. Press Menu

5. Select Manage

6. Select Storage, and Delete Everywhere.
