    The Blu-ray Player does not work anymore.


    Hello!

    Yesterday, I watched Person of Interest on BD. After a few episodes, theres were terrible artefacts in the picture. Today, I wanted to go on watching, but the app didn't start. The message was shown, that it would take to much time to start the blu-ray app.
    Reinstalling the Player did not help.

    I need your help please.

    The Xbox One does play Blu-Ray and DVD, but keep in mind *3D Blu-Ray's will not work*.

    Blu ray kind of peaked about a year after it came out didn't it? Everything is streaming now. I don't even know anyone that has a blu ray player anymore.

    Why not buy a 3D blu-ray player its not like they cost much and the Xbox One uses software for Blu-ray playback unlike proper Blu-ray players.

    Just tried the Blu Ray on a PS3 and it works like a charm, so it's definatly a bug on the Blu-Ray Player on the Xbox One!

    Now people can quit arguing with me about the next xbox having a blu ray player. Its finally confirmed with the recent leak. I knew this a long time ago but was not allowed to post my source.

    With the next xbox having a blu ray player I will be very interrested in buying it for sure. Not sure if it will be a day 1 purchase, but I will no longer need my PS3 anymore for blu ray movies.
