Best Game of this Generation?

Does seem like an appropriate time to look back and pick the best as this gen draws to a close, my highlights in no articular order:

Rainbow Six Las Vegas

Red Dead Redemption

Call of Duty Modern Warfare

Mass Effect trilogy

Hitman Blood Money

Deus Ex HR

There have been plenty of others but these stick out in the mind as the most fun had, its been good times!!

 

Best Game of this Generation?

I fully expect GTA 5 Right up there with my favourites. GTA IV is down there with my worst. Couldnt get into it.

No acknowledgement of the obscene DLC practice in this game? Ugh.

 

^ To be honest, I've not even read about the DLC as and I know I'm probably one of the few but I have zero interest in this game.

Enjoyed the first one, couldn't get into the second and no matter how good Polygon say it is, from everything I've seen so far about the game it's just doing nothing for me.

 

Loved Asylum, didn't enjoy origins as much, but this does look rather tasty!

Its not gonna break my bond with Geralt of Rivia at the moment though..

Might wait for the inevitable GOTY edition

 

I am a big fan of the Arkham series (minus Origins). And that preview/review of Arkham Knight sounded amazing. I can not wait for the 23rd.

I believe Arkham Knight will be one of the best of this generation. Despite releasing early in the 8th gen console life cycle.

 

Never really got into the Batman games, but this one looks amazing! I will defo give it a go.

 

For me,Witcher 3 & Elite Dangerous beat Batman AK.....Don't have time to play it anymore....I will play it but from my schedule,not before Q1 2016...Sacrifice,sorry Batman....

I played the last ones which i loved ,but this one driving seems weird ill give it a try later to many games coming out i want lol

 

I read his review, and find that he lets a lot of his fanboy bias creep in. It wasn't hard to see that he was too busy drooling to be objective. I'm not saying this isn't a great game, but I wouldn't put too much stock into a 10 that he gives it. There's
always another shoe.

 

Witcher 3 came out like a month ago......

 

Im sure its going to be a good game from what ive seen but i have zero interest in playing it at the moment if ever. Im with loneWolf Witcher 3 already came out.
