THE BEGINNING OF XB1?

Free games, tons of apps announced, great games announced, external storage, and I'm sure there is more! Who feels this is the "true" beginning of the X1's rise to greatness?

I maintain that for me the beginning was when I opened the box, unpacked, set everything up, and booted up Ryse with Kinect for the first time.

 

Most of this recent news would be prime E3 material.

Can wait to see what they aren't telling us!

 

The Xbox One keeps getting better and better, and like Bird said above I'm also excited to see what they announce at E3 because external storage, Games with Gold are stuff that you would think Microsoft would announce at E3.

 

I look back to when I first got my X1 in Dec, and now look at the evolution. Up until yesterday (when I downloaded my 2 free games) I think we were in the X1 preview.......... now the full show is starting!

Its still in Beta pretty much. Once most of the issues are ironed out and all of the lemon xbox ones are sold then I might give it a shot. The kinectless one was a good start.

 

For some maybe but as soon as I opened my D1 XO I was set. It's definitely getting better & better but that was always expected.

 

I've been with and have known how MS does things over the years, so as Cruzin said, this was expected - that's why I chose to stay with them unlike so many others who decided to go elsewhere. I know I'm going to be happy as a result of this and more because
I already am. I hope those who have decided to leave MS' camp, for whatever reason, are going to be happy with their decision in the long run too.

 

Yeah this latest update is very nice! Love how MS is updating this console every month....this is the xbox i always wanted! not the one i got in November ........which i still loved anyway lol

 

as long as i dont hear the word TV at E3 then ill be happy i want a halo 2 or chief collection mass effect 4 a red dead 2 and a mass effect trilogy then ill be very very happy i reckon ms could show a VR

 

TV wasn't at last year's E3 either. Some people have memories that can move between the Xbox Reveal and E3.

 

In hindsight Microsoft probably would have done themselves a favor if they pushed the gaming aspect BEFORE revealing the many other things the X1 can do, as it seems a lot confuse the reveal with last years E3.

More great things are on the horizon, and M.S. has a real opportunity to shine this year.
