The bane of online achievements/trophies

So sony never baned an arabic person for his real name, strip away his games and trophies, and then give his games etc back later? minue the saves and trophies of course.

In my honest opinion, i think achievements and trophies have ruined gaming, we all get to sucked in to earn an achievement or trophy that we miss the whole point about gaming, gaming is about having fun online or offline but everything has become to serious
and i really think that the system for achievements should be scrapped. maybe replaced with a couple of avatar items as awards for completing the game on any difficulty level.

the ps4 has trophies which are an evolution of achievements.

different trophies have different values, there are bronze silver and gold, as well as "platinium" which is basically got all the other trophies.

there is also an over all "level" of trophies, I am not sure how this level is acquired but the more trophies you earn the higher it gets and the higher your level the more you need to get to the next. like achievements, trophies are useless though.
