The BAD CoD: Ghosts Spawns!

Okay, we have all been In bad CoD Spawns before. But, CoD Ghosts Spawns... Are Terrible! Theres just No Other way to put It. On a Free For All Game on the Map Freight, The Count Down Started and a guy Spawned
Literally Right IN FRONT OF ME! I easily got first blood. On Team Death Matches I Spawn In the middle of the Map almost every time I die, If I die.

Never complained about spawns on a cod before but............

So all the people complaining about bad spawns, have never had good spawns? You never watched someone spawn in front of you and killed them? Gotta take the good with the bad. Plus (except for FFA) spawns are VERY, VERY controllable and manipulated in EVERY
COD. I believe in the last two CoDs prior to Ghosts the devs have "tweaked" the spawns a bit to "counter" some spawn killing (not spawn trapping). By this I mean it seems that if a team is badly trapped, locked back into their own spawn the game would start
giving the trapped team some random spawns and "outs". I noticed this a bit in MW3 and BO2 more than any previous CoDs. EDIT--So it seems its either get trapped and NEVER be able to possibly get out, or deal with some randomness, dunno for sure.

 

How does everyone feel about Ghosts?!?

I think that is one of the problems. Ghosts seems to be more team/clan oriented than other titles. I occasionally play with friends, however due to real life and odd hours I usually plan alone and join random games. It's common to run into teams/clans and
often the scores are hugely lopsided as they control spawns. In HC TDM I've seen more hugely lopsided scores than in previous CODs. I've also seen a number of games where everyone on the team getting pounded leaves and the game forfeits or by the end the
losing team only has one or two players. This was very rare in previous titles. Teams/clans versus a random group makes for a bad game.

Spawns are traditionally bad in COD games and this hasn't improved at all in Ghosts.

 

FFA is notorius for bad spawns and its always been that way. TDM and other "team" games have very controllable spawns, of course you have to be playing with your team or in a party. If your team is spread around the map, spawns will be chaotic. I think the
spawns are CoD-like and fine. Either adjust or play SnD.

Spawns were NEVER this bad! I now only play S&R because of the spawns SUCK! But even yesterday I was spawned RIGHT INFRONT of someone on the other team and they won S&R because the spawn sucked!! I didn't have any issues in mw2 or mw3

Spawns are always the worst at the beginning, and they work on them continuously to try to improve them. They have improved on ghosts since release, and I expect them to improve more, the more time and data the devs get. I think there is always going to
be times where a spawn seems inexplicable, but I don't think ghosts as any worse than previous COD's.

 

I think it's safe to say that I got over the spawn system after coming to the realisation that I can't do anything about it and it's better to just accept it and move on.

I seem to spawn in enemy LOS quite a lot in this game regardless of the game mode. I don't recall that happening in previous titles (at least not often enough for me to remember it) unless it was a spawn trap. These enenmy LOS respawns haven't been due to
a spawn trap. The spawns are one of my biggest dislikes in the game and enough to keep me away from it.

 

I've been playing battlefield 4 all week. It's no better in that game. The maps are huge and I will still spawn ten feet in front of an enemy. There is this one map with a huge building in the middle. Once the snipers get on top of the building you spawn
out on the perimeter of the map with no cover. You have to run zig zag for 50 meters....and then there is only one or two way up top. Those are covered with claymores, their secondary shotgun and they have respawn beacons to spawn back up top if you do get
lucky enough to pick off the top of their helmet. All of the issue in COD are in battlefield. The only difference is the huge maps, clunky controls and large amount of recoil covers up the games errors. Both games are a lot of fun. Both games have issues.
Where do you expect to spawn in games with 12-20 people on little maps? Bad spawns will happen.

 

When your team camps in one spot and you die. U spawn by the enemy and get killed again is because of camping by your team mates. If you spawn where one of your team is camping and then you both die, then you and your team are in position of getting spawn
killed. If u have not figure the spawn system out yet, go play something else and stop whining about spawn killing. You can avoid getting spawn killed, like I do all the time and still win.
