The Australian Xbox 360 store has outdated game prices

Chat support told me to post this here:

For some reason the prices of some games on the Australian Xbox 360 store are strangely out of sync with the rest of the games and the competition. SSX costs $70 on the Aus Xbox store and $25 on Aus PSN. For the US store Xbox matches PSN at $20. The other
game I've seen that is weirdly off in price is Bioshock 1 which costs $50 on the Aus store. Bioshock 2 only costs $30 though. Both cost the same $20 on the US Xbox store. Both only cost $10 on the US PSN store.

I get that publishers set the prices, but does Microsoft have a place where we can submit feedback so you know and can then talk to the publishers about price discrepancies?

    :)

  2. Xbox 360 to XB1 digital discount offer

The Minecraft discounted price offer is still valid (I believe the discount is permanent for owners of the Xbox 360 edition of the game).

As for the discounted price for Australian buyers: the price should be about 25% of the original price (75% discount).

  3. 360 backwards compatible titles showing wrong currency in store

I'm in Australia. Xbox One titles in the store are showing in Australian dollars. 360 titles when I click "show price" are in British pounds.

I have my region set to Australia. My language is set to English - UK (so that I can use Cortana, which isn't supported with English - Australia)

How can I see the prices of backwards compatible games with my Family Settings on Xbox One?

This xbox 360 games are still in the 360 Marketplace, this is separate from the current store for Microsoft xbox one games. that is why the price is not showing. Eventually as they phase out the 360 they will have to merge the stores. But at this point
everyone still has to go to the 360 store to see the prices.

    Dam ridiculous!

Parity with brick and morter stores is one thing, but the games on the Australian store are listed at over the RRP! Using ghosts as an example, the RRP on that game is $99.95. The fact that it is listed as $100.20 really shows that this is probably UK Pounds
converted into AU Dollars, rather than giving an actual Australian set price.

    Next-Gen Upgrades

Thanks for the link, though I've seen it before and it refers to the Xbox Live Marketplace.

Xbox 360 games generally, really, I just used COD as an example.

I was wanting to know if there's any other places you can do the upgrade in Australia. For example I believe Best Buy and a few other stores in the US do something similar. Here, the Xbox Live marketplace is ridiculously overpriced, for example the Australian
Dollar and USD are almost at parity, and yet the link you gave has a recommended retail price of 69.99 USD and on the Australian Xbox Live Marketplace is $99.99. If you buy the game in store here you can get it for as little as $64, and so if there are other
options available I'd rather not go through the market place.
