The audio settings under the system tab

They are still there, but only show up if you have your headset directly plugged into the controller. If you are using an Xbox headset adapter, then the audio options do not show up, and you have to use the volume controls on the adapter instead.

Xbox One Chat Headset (First gen) picking up sound but not picking up my audio

Hey, have you checked the Audio menu under the System Tab? It should be visible under the Settings option.

There is the Mic On/Off option as well as the volume for each channel.

I bought a headset with detachable microphone for Xbox one

Also under the system tab, click on settings and go to display & sound. Check your volume and audio output. In volume, check the chat mixer setting and party chat output (headset).

How do I make fame and system audio only go trough my TV, and how to make party chat only on my headset?

    Thank you for the reply.

To make the fame and system audio only go through your TV, and the party chat only on your headset, follow these steps:

    1. Press the Xbox button on your controller and navigate to the Profile & system tab.

    2. Select Settings, then General, and then Volume & audio output.

    3. Under Headset audio, select Stereo uncompressed.

    4. Under Party chat output, select Headset.

    5. Under Speaker audio, turn off HDMI audio.

    I hope this helps!
    Adam.
