The Ascent - Launch Day title?

I read awhile back that The Ascent was going to be a launch day exclusive for the Series X. I was really excited for it as I love the art and gameplay I've seen but in checking again I don't see the game on any launch list for the Series X. What happened?
Is it still coming or has it been delayed? I already have Observer System Redux and Watch Dogs Legion pre-ordered, I was really hoping to grab Ascent alongside Bright Memory 1.0 on launch day as well.

From what im reading everywhere it is only set for launch later this year (2020). I think it's safe to say they don't expect to be a Day 1 title but still will be available for the 2020 Holiday season.

After some researching it seems it's a common issue and here we have another solution:

Running a game in fullscreen consumes a lot of processing resources, which can cause the game to become unresponsive at times. Try launching The Ascent in windowed mode to help your computer process everything.

Open Steam and go to Library.

Right-click The Ascent and select Properties.

In the General section, click the Set Launch Options button.

In the text field, copy the following codes -windowed -noborder

Hit Ok and relaunch the game.
