    The App is stating my console is off but it is not and will not connect to my PC,


    I have a xbox One and I am trying to play my xbox on my PC. On the app when I click connect to console it says my console is off but it is not. Not sure how to fix the issue

    Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide and go to Profile & system > Settings > Devices & connections > Remote features.

    Check the box to enable remote features.

    For Power options, select Sleep mode.

    Restart the console and PC and try again.

    If you already had this configuration and the problem persists, perform the steps listed here to repair the app.

    Hi I was having the same issue. I use my Xbox through my laptop. It was working fine until this morning. The app stated my console was off when it was turned on. I did what you said, I went into remote features, that was already checked, so I disabled it and enabled it. Then it went through the setup process. I rebooted the console. I checked the status on my laptop, now it says the console is on. But it still won't connect. Still says " try again in a while. We can't connect to your console right now". I did the repaired method and still unable to connect. How do I remove my console from the app? I tried doing that on my tablet and it just says " ️try again soon. Can't connect right now"

    I figured maybe re-adding it would help. I can't even find a remove option on the laptop Xbox app .

    Xbox One controller with usb problem

    I am not trying to connect it to my console. I can connect it to my console wirelessly but i want to connect to my pc (Windows 10) and play through the xbox app but when i pressed the buttons when connected to the pc it just blinked for a few seconds and
    then shut off.

    Thank you for your reply, you can only manually set instant-on from you Xbox console. One way of connecting your PC to your console is by going to use game streaming in the Xbox app.

    I'm quite confused by your response. It's as if you aren't reading what I'd provided or maybe not understanding at all.

    I am using the XBOX App on my PC. In the past while using the App on my PC I would select the 'connect to xbox' option, and there's an option to 'Turn on' the XBOX. This used to work, and now doesn't. I have to go to my xbox and turn it on, and then the
    App see's the xbox is on and I can begin streaming.

    So, my issue is that the 'turn on xbox' option in the XBOX App for the PC doesn't work.

    When the 'turn on xbox' option in the xbox app for the PC doesn't work I get the following error:

    "We can't turn on your console. Make sure this device is on the same network as your console and your console is set to instant-on."

    Because the error stated that I needed to set the console to instant-on I made sure to check and configure my console as such. To be clear: instant-on option on the XBOX Console is 'ENABLED'

    Now the error also states that I need to check that the console is on the same network. It is! The XBOX Console and my PC are hard wired to the same network switch.

    Hello, since this morning I can no longer launch the Microsoft Rewards app. I have a message saying Update your console's location.

    My console and app are updated. What is strange is that it works when I put my console in French (I'm French). I prefer to play in English so I put my console at United State and it doesn't work anymore.
    The solution to your issue is in what you wrote: if you are French, living in France, internet connection have a french IP, and all your profile is French, if you put your console in English/United States, when you start the Microsoft Rewards App, the app
    find that your rewards profile is French based.

    For that reason the error say to "update your console location" because you moved away from French/France.

    Put back the console to French language, France state.

    As a workaround you can access the Microsoft Rewards site from PC or Smartphone.
