The analogues of my controls do not respond well

want some kind of compensation

im on my 4th controller now and have to send it back Analogues faulty, i wanted some kind of compensation and not the free games for gold, either an accessory would do.

I wish I didn't leave it so late... I couldn't decide between the two consoles. I felt like my PS4 order was done from "what other ppl think is cool and better", don't even like the Dualshock control pads with their symmetrical analogues for shooters.

You may be experiencing what is called "thumbstick drift". The parts inside the joystick that keep it centered can get worn from use and have the stick fall out of alignment, causing constant, slight movement (a.k.a "drifting") in some direction even when
your thumb is not resting on the thumbstick.

There's not much you can do. The first thing to check is if your controller is still under warranty, which, if either purchased alone or using the one that came with the console, has a warranty of 90 days from purchase date. You will need to RMA the controller
and send it in for a repair. Otherwise, you may need to buy a new controller.

There are "unofficial" fixes online through discussion boards and videos, but it's not supported by Microsoft and may only serve as a temporary fix and/or cause further damage to your joystick. Consider them at your own risk.

I've worn my original controller smooth.

Well I say original controller. The case is the original one as are the guide and ABXY buttons. The analogue sticks and d-pad are from an original Xbox controller and the rest of the insides are from a white controller I broke on the wall.

Remember kids, repairing your controller is against the Terms of Use.

Well I'm shocked, that there isn't any Analogue outputs, when there is Analogue inputs... It's only outputting Optical out from ADC that the Component Inputs to.. It wouldn't of been hard for them to output analogue Audio..

Analogue sticks arent for you, and thats great, your used to PC gaming and its understandable why you prefer mouse/keyboard.

However the Steam controller is a pile of dogs dirt (in my opinion) playing games on a tablet/phone with virtual thumbsticks is terrible, and the steam controller using virtual sticks will be just as bad. Why they couldnt do something closer to the PS4's
controller is beyond me, real analogue thumbsticks with a touchpad in the centre, solves all problems.

Is it the whole controller that's sticky, or the analogue stick itself?
