Supposedly early July. What they consider early is anyone's guess. I would love to say tomorrow or sometime this week but I'm almost certain the release of "The Amazing Spiderman" will have people in both 4J and MS in vacation mode and delay the process...

 

Haha and all the fanboys and paranoid people thought it was because the x1 couldn't run it! Hahahahajahahahahaha!!! Who's laughing now.

 

I downloaded the game hours ago. After a couple hours of error codes and hard resets the game actually started. And now I get stuck on the "With Great Power" load screen. Yay me! spent 59.99 and maybe ill get to play it one day...

 

This is the reason I come down so hard on the xbox bashers and the ones that are paranoid that xbox isn't powerful enough. You all know nothing and are just stirring up trouble. Trying to make xbox look bad. Why not just wait and see what happens before
you start mouthing off about how underpowered the xbox one is and how companies are not going to make games for it because it hasn't sold enough or that sony did it because they own Spider-Man. Hopefully this will teach certain people on here a thing or two.

Great news I got passed the 1st loading screen and got to play as Peter Parker. I walked about 20meters found uncle Ben shot. And then the game went to the "On the Trail of a Killer" loadscreen and thats where im currently at in the game while writing this.
By my estimation I had 3 minutes of actual gameplay. Its been a while now and im still on the load screen.

How can I thank the folks that made this game. I want to talk to them face to face. Ive been watching a lot of Sons Of Anarchy lately and it seems that when you reaaaaally reeeeeeaally want to "talk" things out, it should be face to face. Cracking knuckles....

Oh wait. After about 10 minutes I have the ability to press the menu button and start the game.

Freaking awesome!

 

Oh nevermind. Soon as I hit start the game froze.

 

Had to restart the game and now the Xbox is back to its old tricks again. I click on the game and after a couple minutes I get kicked back to the home screen with the error code saying for some reason the game didnt start. Thats real helpful by the way.....

 

I intend to play this game since I'm at a loss for things to play right now. But no way is it worth a non-refundable/no trade in value $60. Hopefully Gamefly has it available soon.

 

^^ Just wait til tomorrow and buy Child of Light until it's out for rental. I'm buying CoL tomorrow so if you want to get some co-op hit me up.

 

dark phantom, did you do a full shutdown of the console (hold the power button on the console until it shuts completely off. Then pull out the power cord for 30 seconds, just to be sure)?

The game should be at least playable.

Duffel, the XB1 is underpowered, period. MS dropped the ball on the specs of this thing. Wasted too much time and money on the idiotic kinect and other crap that very few people care about. Should have just focused on a killer gaming system that surpasses
or at the very least matches the PS4's power. Every day I become more and more annoyed with my XB1.

 

Oh woohoo for you locked. Tell me. If the ps4 is so powerful why isn't this game running at 60fps on it. Actually why are any games coming out at 30fps. It's all crap. Both machines are underpowered. But used correctly the xbox one can run games easily at
the same level as the ps4. What is scary is the fact that booth these system can only do 30fps this early in there life. Is it not being used to the hardware or is it that they are already hitting ceilings? Who knows. But remember one thing. The ps4 is a lot
easier to make games on. This can also be a bad thing. It means hitting the capabilities a lot sooner!!!
