Why must I have to restart games all over again?

I had to restart 2 games now from the beginning. After days and days of game play. I log onto my xbox one console. I get a pop up explaining that the game is in sync or there is some kind of update. Awhile back people where having issues with the lego marvel
game. After it started to work again. I had to restart it all over again.

Now I came online today to play The Amazing Spiderman 2 game and It's forcing me to start over again. I'm not sure what is going on and why I keep having these issues with the xbox one. I had the xbox 360 from the start and had no issues. Now I'm having
all these issues with the xbox one. I believe that if you have to look into technical support or try to figure out an issue with the system. Then you have a faulty or defective system. Customers should not have to spend their time trying to solve Microsoft's
problems. I have also noticed that this is only happening so far to digital downloads. Imagine if Microsoft went with Digital Downloads only?

That is my game issue and rant about Microsoft.

Amazing Spiderman 2 came out this morning....

 

This may or may not resolve the issue and I advise you to do it at your own risk, but it might help recover your old save from cloud storage.

1. Go to "My Games & Apps".
2. Navigate to your game.
3. Press the menu button while hovering over it and select "Manage Game".
4. Move towards the right of the screen to where you see "Saved Data" and select your profile.
   
5. Select "Delete from console".
6. Perform a hard reset on your console. (Holding the power button until it shuts off, unplug the power cable etc. for ~30 seconds, plug everything back in and sign in),
   
7. Launch the game and wait for a popup that notifies you that it's syncing data.
   
8. Try to see if the save data is correct.

Again, it may or may not work, but it's worth a shot. I did this to recover my old CoD: Ghosts save data.
