    The advanced files management removes my games


    Is it normal that when a game with advanced installation features (you know for having your games in a folder outside of WindowsApps) starts reinstalling a whole game just for an update? Nah because doing that for a 2GB game is ok but with a 120GB game!?

    Why is Microsoft removing these features?

    I think that file management is something we need on Xbox and I'm sad to see the File Explorer removed. With all the captures, save files and game add-ons we need an easy way to manage our internal HDD.

    We're sorry to hear about this situation. You're save file is stored on the cloud, if you've accessed the game and saved over the save file on the cloud, you wouldn't be able to recover that information. Let's try

    refreshing your profile     by removing your profile and adding it again. These steps should be helpful. Happy gaming.

    The file manager app no longer works and was removed from the store by Microsoft. If you want to watch your own videos, and play music & look at your pictures, then using the media Player app is your best alternative. You can find it in the store.
