The Ads on Microsoft Solitaire are causing the game to crash and become unplayable

This has started to occur more and more frequently. Advertising from vendors such as OralB, DQ, and other advertisers are making attempting to play the daily challenges impossible since they are causing the game to crash. Microsoft Store Ads, not a problem.
This is affecting all other free status games. Please either debug these ads before you put them up to be played or something. I get over 130mbps speeds on my broadband, have no issues with online ads or videos, bur for some reason only the advertising within
the Microsoft Xbox for Windows 10 games are locking up and crashing, making these games completely unplayable. I just cannot believe that you are either this incompetent or just lazy to allow such troublesome advertising video formatting to be played on these
games. Please fix this.,

Ads causing Solitaire to crash!

Update on the crashing issue. Waited awhile and the ad changed and was able to play until the Best Western ad came back on and now it's crashing again.

I think I've found a fix. Before or while the ad is playing, make the window smaller than full screen (not completely minimized) so you can move it around with your mouse by clicking and dragging the window title
bar. As long as you are "hanging on" to the window with your mouse when the ad ends, it shouldn't close and should go to your game. So far, this has worked 100% of the time on my laptop.

Same Issue here - the problem began with the newest May update for the 30th anniversary celebration. Game has bee working fine until today, uninstall / reinstall makes no difference.

Normal operation :

select a solitaire game from the collection (i.e. Klondike / Spider / etc)

when starting the game, an ad pops up, once the ad plays through and X appears to close the ad. I

Press the X and the ad disappears and the game begins

Now, once the ad plays through, the store app is opened automatically and loaded with the game in the ad. pressing the X causes Solitaire to return to the main game selection page.

cannot bypass the ads in any way, so the game is unplayable

I'm having the same problem. Ads will sometimes freeze at the end. This has been an intermittent but ongoing problem for the past month, making Microsoft Solitaire Collection virtually unplayable as it makes the overall experience very frustrating.

I'm having this problem, too. It Over the last week or so, every single video ad crashes the Solitaire app. Come on, Microsoft, sort it out.
