hi last week i went to go on Xbox live and i was banned for modding my account which is impossible because i have no idea how to do any of that but anyways the 2 hackers that have my account are [Mod Removed] and I think [Mod Removed]
but also [Mod Removed] friend did some illegal things by finding out where i live and all that.I don't know his gamer tag but i think its on his friend list

people don't need to change email address when compromised, they need to change password and make sure they have proper security... that includes not using passwords on more than one service, if one service is compromised all those details are sold.

Someone in another country will pop up with it, even if it takes years to happen. My skype password took approximately 4 years from compromise to have someone log in and use it.

This app makes you click approve when logging into websites, and it's instant once you click "accept" the website will load in normal.

Any devices that don't work with the app like xbox 360 will have you go to website once to create a password (it will generate a password that isn't easy) and you use that on those devices to login with your normal user name.

Last year almost 1 billion got paid out. That was a huge jump from 2015 where only 32 million was paid out. With a jump like that Im sure it will grow even more.

 

You are not allowed to call out gamertags on the forums.

The chances of your account being hacked are extremely remote but if you think your account has been comprimised then you need to phone support for your region & open an unautherised access case.

Sorry you were miss informed but you cannot name shame on the forums.

As far as your account being hacked I highly recommend you visit
https://login.live.com and sign in with your MSA (Microsoft account) and password, make sure you add security proofs (alternate email and phone number and change password) if for any reason you are unable to sign in fill out the ACSR form at
Recover your account and fill out as much as you can so you can get back to your account immediately.

If after you fill out this request you get an email saying you did not provide enough info to recover your account call phone support again and have your account escalated to T3 and have the email there as well you will need the account recovery request
number to escalate your case.

Its a tedious process but it works and you can get back to your account you just have to be patient.

hi ghosts the best things to do is change your password and your security question so no one can access your account the only way they could find out where u live is by going on the billing info on your account or by tracing your ip but it would only give
county/state and city/town and mybe road and zip code but not the number on your house

Yeah they were able to find out my state city and street but no my house #.I can access the account but i cant play on it because it was banned but i didn't do anything to break the coc our the tou plus they also have my account so they can do whatever they
want on it

 

sorry that is not true nobody can find out that info unless you give them that all they can get from you is what city/state you are in via your IP address. if they said they had your mailing address they are bluffing.

 

They have my account so what one of the guys was doing was he had his friend who also has the account say my state, city, zip code and street because him and his friend have the account.Like i said i can access it but since they have the account they had
to have done something because the account is banned i know there gamer tags but i cant post them here.
