    That was the final straw for me.


    These are problems you are having with your console, yes, by me saying you should get it "fixed", I meant that you should contact support, go through their pointless troubleshooting and then send it be to them for repair.

    My X1 plays Tomb Raider, my X1 streams videos from a PC and a NAS, my X1 is able to play Blurays and DVDs, the same can be said about millions of other people using their consoles... Are you able to spot the difference yet?

    You bought a working console ?

    And/how, you somehow managed to get new consoles when they fail, as opposed as a ''repaired'' console that is not repaired at all and they still charge you for the alleged ''repair''.

    I don't buy this at all.

    The batteries thing is your fault.Batteries can leak if you leave them in an unused device which is why it's recommended to take them out if you are not using the device for a long period of time.

    It's always been that way.

    Sorry but no one waits this long if a new console breaks down after 6 hours,you take it back to where you bought it from straight away,it's plain common sense.

    As for the repair process,if your console is under warranty you don't have to pay & it clearly tells you that if they can't repair it quickly then you will be sent a refurbished one.

    I've had refurbished consoles sent to me,including a xbox one that have worked fine.

    The xbox one i'm using now is a refurb sent to me by Microsoft & it's been working without an issue for well over a year.

    My console works well and I am not going to apologize for that fact. If you are having that many problems maybe it is time for you to consider all your options because ranting here is not going to accomplish anything productive. Good Luck on whatever you

    For 400 dollars, plus two unplayable games, plus one game that I had to buy again, plus one blu ray reader, I'm certainly going to vent my frustration.,

    What is the ruse ? I hate my purchase and I want to vent some anger toward it ?

    And LOL for the people that keep telling ''get a refund''. It never work. You could go 24 hours after the purchase with the ticket and pictures of you buying the console, and they would still find a trick to refuse to refund you. I purchased once a 32 inches
    TV ''with no HDMI sound''. I brought it back to Best Buy, 24 hours later, with the ticker, I shown them it was not working and they STILL refused to refund. ''I had broke it''.

    I have never had any issues returning a device to Best Buy as long as it fell in there return/exchange policy window which is quite liberal.

    You bought a lemon, refused to return it, and now are refusing to send it in for repairs. You have nobody to blame but yourself at this point.

    Seriously, what world do you live in? You act as if the other 20 million Xbox One owners have some magic trick that you don't, or as if stores will never accept a return. I guess you are right in a way though. A store definitely isn't going to accept a return
    when you refuse to initiate the process.

    I suppose if you would rather continue to whine and moan about how unfair life is because you got a faulty console then that's your prerogative. Your time would be much better spent by picking up the phone, calling MS support, going through the troubleshooting
    steps they ask you, and then send it in for repair if the troubleshooting doesn't help.

    Not only a faulty console, faulty batteries and a faulty TV, I don't think it's the console that's the lemon...

    One question, what do you think I could do wrong to ''damage'' this console ? I used it for six hours, out of sheer terror of somehow damaging it, the trick that is used to refuse refunds.

    There's a lot you can do. I'm sure there's tons of unbelievable true stories of people mishandling their consoles. Most likely is bad placement with not enough ventilation too much dust in the area. A dirty lens could account for your disc problems
