That is how my Xbox One X sounds. Is it normal?

I had faced with rattling/clicking sound coming from my brand new Xbox One X. Sound appeared only in highload games after the scene was loaded, for e.g. in "Witcher 3: Wild hunt".

I'd replaced console for 4 times, and it seems that finally I had received the normal one. But it still makes strange rattling/clicking sounds, now it seems to be much more quiet, and rattling had became much more normal.

I'm still afraid that console my be broken after warranty ends, due to bad bearing or something that makes these rattling sounds. I mean that the current console sounds much better, but not like other fans I had heard (e.g. in my notebook/PC, which sounds
like just blowing air, without any rattling).

Would you be so kind to check whether the sound is OK? Should I not worry any more about it?

What kind of sound card does xbox one X have?

It sounds really clear when I put my optical line from my sound bar to my xbox one X instead of my TV.

Im pretty sure my tv doesn't have that great of a sound car considering it's a just a 4k tv. but the sound processor on the Xbox one X is first class.

Overheat

Hello

My Xbox One X is being overheated every time i play on it, the ventilation sounds noisy, is that a problem? What should i do?

At least for my own Xbox One X, it should make a continuous "whoosh" noise when the fan spins up. Depending on the game, it can be relatively quiet, or jumping up and down in speed, or remain somewhat high.

I saw your video, but I didn't hear any rattling in particular. Do you hear the same noise when the Xbox is placed on different surfaces? I'm wondering if the rattling you hear might be coming from other loose things sitting on your desk?

Hi,

There is a fan sound with the One X, it's completely normal. The only time the machine would be almost silent is playing none enhanced titles. The machine gets warm especially playing enhanced games. A temperature sensor would record 65c at the rear of the
unit, quite normal.

That being said, the fan should not be in any way annoying or disruptive to your game experience. If Xbox One X sounds overly loud, like a 'vacuum cleaner' or a 'jet engine' something is wrong.

Only the PS4 Pro sounds like it's going to 'take off', normal for that machine (I've got one), not the One X.

By silent, i mean I should not be hearing that little grinning sound that seems to be a harddrive sound. The xbox one of my friend was making the little fan noise which is normal. that little tickling grinning sound coming especially from the back of my

I think that would sound a lot better. Me and my boyfriend were discussing with how the name is far too similar to the Xbox One X. I dont have think I've ever called my Xbox S 'Xbox One S' or 'Xbox One X' Its Xbox X and S to me and people know what I'm
talking when I say that.
