    So on MS Canada's website they had a trade in program for the month of September.... basically trade in any console (any type) , working and get a credit towards the purchase of any new X1 (S) console. I sent in my 2 year old X1 and got a $220 credit on
    my account which I need to use by the end of October.

    -

    My question....looking into the future.... are there any other X1 S special edition consoles coming out (I like the looks of the Battlefield console) and closer towards Black Friday will X1 S's go on sale??? Hard to say I know... but always hopeful!

    ^ I jumped all over that trade value. Most stores are paying $100 for a X1 .... but for $220, heck I could buy a new X1 for $250.... cost me $30 to get a new console under warranty....

    -

    The Battlefield bundle is $449 less my $220= A real cheap X1 S IMO.....

    Flash is being phased out, we will never see it on the xbox. The system is shifting to html5 based systems.

    Flash player is not supported in IE on the console. Also downloads are not allowed through IE. This is to secure the console from nasty files or coding that could damage the consoles software.

    I highly doubt they will ever allow support for Flash or downloads.
