Thanks microsoft for *** up my xbox

i joined the pre update program for xbox 1 and so far is was going ok. yesterday i was playing just fine and now today it wont read any game disk but it reads movies . then on top of that i now Have My 60 Dollar game TITANFALL stuck in the disk tray . All
the money your customers spend on the systems and you cant even make a decent system that works . now i have to wait a month at least before i can play . i really appreciate that alot

I got my replacement console today and its working perfectly and I am sending off the old one tomorrow. I have to apologize to Paul of costumer support for putting up with my mom's interrogation.

You knew the risk when signing up that is of course you read the agreement and the issues that could arise from joining a preview program.

 

And in all honesty it's probably just coincidental. It sounds like a bad case of ODD (Optical Disc Drive) failure and has nothing to do with your update preview.

A little research online and you'll see that problems with the ODD have been the more prevalent issue with the X1. All part and partial with being a first adopter. You want to play first, then you gotta work through the bugs.

 

Just like NJDevils said, if you read the agreement then you know possible issues can occur by joining this program but there could also be a physical issue with your xbox one.

 

Might just be a coincidence, but mine has just started doing this as well, and I have the preview updates too.
