I would like to thank those responsible for not providing what was shown/advertised in your warranty repair shipping options. You should probably put a patch out for that so no one tries to take you for financial responsibility. Second thank you for the
1 month free gold card that cannot be redeemed do to error, and for not putting a valid error code to use when asking for support on it, great job Microsoft. Had I known i was gonna deal with this much trouble for $500 I would have gone PS4. have a good day

Xbox Repair Needs Corrections for its Return Shipping Options

Xbox needs to correct what it has in fine print for shipping its consoles back for repairs. I had opted for fedex expedited shipping, which on xbox repairs online it says it already includes the shipping box and packaging. Wrong, it didn't include any of
that. I had to pay fifteen bucks extra on top of the $10.50 for fedex expedited shipping for a box and packaging. I love my xbox, but this is ridiculous. I called customer support, but the agent did nothing about it. She just said there was nothing she could
do. Really, you can't reimburse me for a mistake you guys made. I guess not. This will be my fifth time I return an xbox for repairs. After this, I'm thinking of switching consoles.

XBOX DOESN'T CARE ABOUT ITS CUSTOMERS. I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER XBOX PRODUCT AGAIN. XBOX OWNERS BEWARE, DON'T OPT FOR THEIR EXPEDITED SHIPPING WITH INCLUSION OF A BOX AND PACKAGING, ITS A COMPLETE SCAM. NO WONDER YOU GUYS (MICROSOFT) ARE LOSING CUSTOMERS.

Sending Xbox for Repair - False Advertisement - No Free Box with Expedited Shipping

I went into a FedEx Office store today and gave the clerk my Service Order number and my Xbox 360. She asked if I wanted to buy a box and packing materials for the console. I told her that it was included in the shipping that I selected on the Xbox website
(FedEx Office Store Drop off - Expedited Shipping). She typed the SO number into her system and informed me that I only paid for shipping (no free box or shipping materials).

I called the FedEx customer service number and the guy couldn't find anything that said I should have gotten a box and shipping materials for free. He told me to call Microsoft.

What a waste of time!!!

We all make mistakes once in a while. Which is why I would recommend ringing them and explaining the issue you have with them. They will then be able to work with you and find a solution.

And, sorry to hear that you have had a bad experience with Xbox.

I started a request for repair. I had to pay $10 for expedited shipping. Will this cover the cost of shipping to Microsoft? Will they be sending me a shipping box with prepaid shipping label?

I eventually griped my way up to get to the "Escalated" Customer support. More like the people that can help support. You are supposed to get a free box and packing materials. I had my receipt so microsoft refunded me for the box. Still a large hassle
but you can get it if you want to spend the time.

By the way, take a good look at your Xbox when it gets back. Mine was damaged and scratched all to crap. I then got a Advanced Replacement because my initial problem wasn't fixed and I had damage. My new console had issues too. Hopefully you avoid these
issues.
