I'd like to thank every one who I've ever talked to over the forums abs xbox live and any body I've ever gamed with.ive tried really hard with the xbox one but I can't take anymore the fact every game is a lower quality and that every one you talk to has
no interest in the xbox one anymore it's all about the playstation my heart is not in it any more it's time for a new start and a lot of games I've never tried before on a ps4 good bye and god bless you all

I loved the original Xbox. LOVED IT. I actually bought several, when my first one died, and then several as gifts for friends and family. When the 360 was announced, I was really stoked for it and figured with the really great experiences I had with the
Xbox, the 360 would be awesome.

Man, I was so wrong. Initially it was pretty good. The games were OK, but nothing really mind-blowing. And then for whatever reason you decided to treat me, and the people like me, like crap.

I had to send my Xbox 360 back FOUR TIMES. Each time it took up to two months to go out and come back to me. Twice I unpacked it and it immediatly red-ringed. Once it came back with the face plate missing and a huge scratch on the top. Then you slowly started
to push your (in my case) unwanted crap on my box: Facebook, Netflix, Ads popping up on my dash ... I wanted to play games, not have Ads for crap thrown in my face.

The decision to continue to charge me to play online drove me to use Steam on my PC, which I thank you for. I am not a Halo fan, or any EA Sport game (or a majority of the EA shovel-ware collection, really), so I wasn't really missing anything since a majority
of the games I wanted to play were on PC anyway. Kinect was a kind of cool idea that just floundered around. It was kind of cool in The Gunstringer but other than that? Not so great.

I watched the MS "reveal" yesterday on IGN. To me, personally, you guys just seem to have lost touch with the people who buy your gear and keep you in business. I am not going to sit here and go over the same negatives people have covered before. If you
guys at MS are too dense to take 5 minutes looking on the internet to see what a negative response the reveal generated, then anything I say wouldn't make a difference. It probably still doesn't, but after the thousands of dollars I have personally spent on
your hardware and games, I figured I should tell you that as a consumer ... I am done.

While I understand that Sony's new system will have many of the same functions and features as the Xbox One, I also feel that they are more focused on the gamer. That's what I am. I don't NEED to watch TV or Google or Twitter or Facebook on my GAME CONSOLE.
I don't WANT to pay a fee to play a rented or used game I bought. I am not going to pay a fee so I can play a game with my friend over the internet.

Will I get a PS4? I don't know, I guess it depends on if Sony makes the same bewildering and terrible descisions that Microsoft did. When my Xbox died for the 3rd time I picked up a PS3 and can't really think of one game I was not able to get that was on
the 360, other than GoW and Halo, which I got tired of after the second or third rehash, anyway. Games looked great, Online Store was strait-foward without the "points" crap. No ads in my face. No fees to jump into an online game with my friends, etc.

So that's the end of my rant. I'm the little guy who Microsoft has decided is invalid as long as I keep throwing money at them, and even then, the cash I drop on consoles, add ons, extra controllers, games, membership fees, etc .. that really doesn't matter,
either. But I have a voice, and I can vote with my wallet, and I bet there are many, many people just like me who are just tired of being force-fed and charged for crap we just don't want or care about.

Xbox One community is dead but the 360 is still alive and kicking

Hey, my 360 will be kept around for Witcher 2 (I collect the games I like and can't really collect witcher 2 without the console). Oh, and Bethesda games since PS3 sux at those (learned my lesson the hard way, had to re buy Vegas because I couldn't even
finish it on the PS3 cause it got unplayably laggy. Please some one tell me it's much better on the 360 cause I know Vegas had a bad rep even without the PS3). And State of Decay (the only developer I'll miss not having an xbox one).

wow the population is decreasing . soon xbox players will have a population like the wii x). i might also sell my xbox too and get a ps4. im starting to hate the xbox controller analog sticks. and ps4 is more like the 360 controller. and also xbox is struggling
with the graphics early in its release so just think when games start to get more advance from a year or 2 from now?

I'll buy your games from you cheap so you can get rid of it faster if you'd like...how's $15 each sound??

 

it was 3 million sold (3.9 shipped) as of December last year, official figures have not been released to compare with sony sales figures which were upto Feb 8th showing 5.3 million. I would like to point out there are more comments on the xbox one section
of the forums then any other section

this is funny because i actually had the PS4 with every game out for it but i sold it and got the X1.. i don't regret it one bit specially after playing the titan fall beta

 

Can't take it anymore? It's been a couple months. Next time a new console drops you should wait until the links have been worked out and game are running optimally. I hope you enjoy PS4...but why not have both?
