Thanks for removing your snap feature and then telling me how NEW and IMPROVED everything ...

You guys dissapoint me with your lack of honesty. You took away a feature I used every single day and didnt have the guts to say it. I used the snap feature and is the only reason I got an Xbox One over a PS4. Your April 2017 dashboard update then has
the audacity to tell me of the "improved" features in which you are shamelessly ruining twitch. You are a business I doubt I can support for much longer. Give me my snap back or my Xbox One will go to the trash for a PS4. Which is far superior without the
snap feature. Which is why you "forgot" to mention the LACK of functionality your update brings. You should have given me (we the consumers) a choice, I didnt mind a slightly laggy guide. You ruined Xbox for me. Bring the snap feature back you idiots.

What's the best way to get a full refund because they removed snap?

Hi. I bought the Xbox One specifically for the media hub options it had and especially for the snap feature. I even bought games just for using snap with like Diablo 3 which was perfect for the feature. Microsoft removing snap is like you getting in your
car one day and finding that the manufacturer came over night and took the radio out. So please tell me what are the best options for returning my console for a full refund. The system isn't what I bought now and it can't do what I bought it for. Very disappointing.

 

Snap feature

One of the main reasons I bought a Xbox One was because of the snap feature. Why in the world would you take that away from the same customers who purchased your console because of that feature that differentiates it from the PS4. Microsoft is seriously
making me reconsider switching to an Xbox from a PlayStation platform. I also feel that there should be some type of class action lawsuit for removing a feature that was a part of the console when we bought it. That's like removing the ability to play a game
and then just leaving you consumers with just a brick that can't do anything except watch blurays. We need this feature back or at least allow the end user the option to decide if they want to disable the snap feature instead of removing completely.

couldnt of wrote this any better tbh,i too used snap feature alot and in my opinion made xb1 that bit better than ps4 it's a dreadful update and hope Microsoft listen and put back the features they have removed that so impressed us when xb1 was first ever

Yes, you COULD HAVE. Correct grammar isn't that hard if you've taken on board basic communication skills and applied yourself. To wit, you "couldn't have written this any better" would have reinforced your point instead of leaving yourself open for correction.
In the matter of Snap functionality, why is it such a big deal? I play on Xbox six days a week, and have been an Xbox Gold member for nine years, but never *once* in all this time have I ever bothered to 'snap' anything while immersed in my game(s) of choice.
If anything, it was a bugbear and I'm glad to see the back of it.

But hey, if you simply can't get through each day without one distraction or another, that's entirely on YOU. Nothing that Microsoft's engineers (or these forum members) can do about it. Snap was removed for a reason. Welcome to the world of console iteration!

They didn't "forget" to tell people they were dropping the snap feature, it has been known about for months.

Also, if you want to get rid of the Xbox One do it, you owe Microsoft no loyalty what so ever. Also threatening to do it on here is pointless, very few (if any) Microsoft workers actually read these forums.

 

its not pointless`, Is never pointless theres a difference between wanting to do something and having to because what you already have has been stupidly diminished after you have spent thousands over 6 years. Everyone should speak up. They may or may not
listen if not PS becomes a stronger option

on here. There's a difference between wanting the right people to see it and having them see it because where it has already been posted has been diminished after you've spent the time to post it. Regarding the group of people who are upset about
the removal of the snap feature, I agree. They should speak up... in the appropriate forum.
