Who are you. Of course a MS employee wouldn't demand a trade in program. But a consumer would.

Xbox Trade In program for Scorpio

If you read the article there is only a small mention of the trade in program.

What this really means is that they are open to offer trade in deals, and promotions with their partners like they have in the past I at this moment dont believe they will have a fixed trade in/up program. However you can look forward to special promotions for transition to scorpio.

Xbox Live Rewards and Microsoft Rewards are two different programs. Our program (Xbox Live Rewards) is responsible for the Console Upgrade offer for 50,000 Rewards Credits. As Smwutches says, those Credits will be shown as pending 15 days past your shipping
date, as described in our FAQ. Once placed as pending, they will remain as Credits until one of bi-monthly deposit dates, when they will be deposited as usable currency in your Microsoft Account. Unfortunately, we do not overlap with the Microsoft Rewards
program, so I cannot offer a fully informed response with your Microsoft Rewards issue. You would have to reach out to their support team for assistance on that problem.

Everybody knew,since november 2013,that a Xbox one slim will be release one day.

You're just "unlucky" but deserve nothing.

Just learn your lesson and become a smarter consumer.

 

Any level headed adult knows that electronics are ever evolving and not finite. Anyone who thought the xbox one was going to stay exactly the same for more than 2-3 years (or even longer) is not researching at all. If you blindly throw money at something
without research first...well, buyer beware. The slim is not a major change (as I stated above) from the current model. The scorpio (coming in winter of 2017) Is more powerful, but arrives after more than 4 years. That is very reasonable for a console.

 

You must work the graveyard shift for MS

 

ummmm..... buyer beware? you didn't have to fork over money to buy this system.... and you did anyway. instead of *** about it how about spending the time enjoying the games that are being put out for this system?

 

Just stay with the BoxOne and get the scorpio when it comes out ,besides there will be problems(Internal Hardware) with the Slim anyways . And as far as a MStrade in system go's, it will never happen . Welcome to reality and human greed.

Dear OP, if you were around these Forums longer you would have seen Burnin TODI is anything but a MS "employee". But offer a tiny fraction of reason and wham, "you work for M$!".

 

iPhones are released every year and it doesn't mean I will buy one.. The original Xbox was around for 4 years and they launched the 360.

 

^^ Not only that, but phones are more expensive than consoles and no one bats an eye.

 

You can always trade your console in at Gamestop. Personally, while I entertained the idea of getting the S I don't really see why I need it. My Day 1 console is still running as well as it did the night I got it. I can see how OP might be frustrated but
this is how the business goes.

 

The S model is pretty sexy though.

 

I'll skip the S but get the Scorpio when it comes out.

I just hope all Devs abandon the X1 and utilize the power of the Scorpio without having to down-grade a sub-par version for X1. I get it Windows Universal Platform is supposed to do this but I've already seen a few examples it is not working as great as it
is claimed by MS.

If at least they still are required by MS to release for both X1 and Scorpio make a bottom of the barrel effort for the X1 port. I wonder if MS is going to give the Scorpio a real name of its own and ditch the X1 name? It already looks like a sneaky way that
MS is trying to brush a failed Generation under the rug.

 

I've got to be honest I love my Xbox advance warfare edition console but that S is sexy as hell and the colour (untouched snow) beautiful. Only problem is the scuff factor, best wrap it in bubble wrap.

I was at game this morning pre ordering it!

As for the guy rambling about consumer trade in nonesence.

You buy clothes from stores knowing that line will reduce in January sales... Refund or no refund?

Fact is you made an informed choice to buy that console on that day with your money. You could of chosen to simply wait for E3 but you didn't. Take the hit and enjoy your games!
