Thank you xbox

Would just like to say thank you to xbox. I finish work come home and all i wanna do is play Halo 5 so im half way through my first ever warzone game and i get a black screen it says it needs a update (its the new dashboard update) it says either skip update
and go offline or turn xbox off so i turn the xbox off. I turn it back on and it goes to do the update it gets to preparing console and then the update just stops and nopw its been like this for 30 mins now i got no idea what to do it says dont turn the xbox
off so thank you xbox for ruining this for me the one time i just wanted to have ago on my xbox and it doesn this

So this guy has been constantly harrasing my LFG and messaging me. Decided to report him but I was doubtful it works. A day later I recieved a message that a person I reported has been "taken action against". LoL justice serveddd......!!!!!!!!!!

 

I got half way through the update and got E200....... hard reset resolved....

 

mine has just frozen on the preparing console page

 

I thought this was going to be positive, are you in the preview or is this an update for all of us?

If you're in the preview, this is exactly the reason I do not participate in these things because my game time is important to me, if I'm stuck updating or trouble shooting for a few hours, that's my night done.

Same thing I was wondering... If you're in the preview program, then you only have yourself to blame. If this is the public release, then that does kind of suck if an issue slipped through the cracks. Good luck getting things working again regardless.

Same for me. Sure we can still get issues, Xbox LIVE problems, problems with your own broadband but don't need to add to it.

I think it's great that people are willing to test it out, report bugs because it benefits us all in the end but not meaning to sound selfish, I just want to play, not spend my spare time as a beta tester.

 

Oh i wasnt bothered about it updating half way through what annoyed me was how it froze my xbox and it was a brick how i fixed it was to hold the bind and eject button then power on worked fine then

 

I know EXACTLY wut u mean! The same thing happened to me last night. I was playing Destiny waiting for 12 so i could play Halo 5, then around 9:45, it cuts off for an update. It was stuck at around 85% on "preparing console" for about 2 hrs, so i decided
i had no choice but to turn off my xbox. Now its stuck looping on the xbox green screen. None of the troubleshooting worked, so now i have to ship it out to get repaired. FML

 

Haha, well regardless of dash problems, my game took hours to do the 9gb download so I didn't get to play anyway, haha, damned if you do and damned if you don't, haha.

Edit: Wait, just need to test this, *** and damned, is *** still censored?
