SuperKcin928- What type of router do you have? Typically routers have a function to reset their settings to the factory defaults, and by doing so you'd be able to undo any settings changes that might have taken place. If you have that router info handy,
we might be able to help you get back to those default settings. Also - for what reason is your ISP asking you to purchase a new router? If you performed only settings changes available in the router software, there would be hardware damage requiring a new
device, only software changes which could be alleviated by the "reset to defaults" setting I mentioned above. Thanks!
