On the 10th of Feb 2005 I played my first ever game with Doubledork.

9 years later and we are about to get married (08/10/14)!

5000 miles couldn't stop us but we never would have met if we'd not played Halo, lol.

Thing with me is, things like that just make me feel like I paid full price for an incomplete game, kinda like when a game comes out and already has DLC of characters, levels etc. that you can purchase on the first day. Why these things couldn't have just
been unlockable? If not greed, then I have no idea. I'm just hoping things don't get any worse, I don't want to have to spend real money inside of a game just to customize my character.



But yea, the whole thread is a complicated thing. He's thanking the company that made Halo for not doing these things, but at the same time it kinda revolves around what other companies do. I don't know if it should stay, but I can't say I disagree with
what he's saying.

Paraffine I am from the South West of England (Near Cheltenham/Bristol area) and he is from Florida, although currently he is in the US Navy so has been moved to the West Coast.

 

Heh, and I thought my wife and I had long-distance relationship. She was only 1,000 miles way and it only 3 months before she moved.

 

It has been tough. We maintained a friendship for a long time and then when we met in person it all just fell into place.

We're looking forward to Halo 2 Anniversary Edition XD
