**** tg1672 problems with advanced warfare

i was able to play advanced warfare on launch no problems. But now I have a very frustrating problem, I simply cannot connect to more than one MP ge with the same lobby. Basically what happens an mp game will finish and the lobby does its intermission. Then
when the game starts up another MP match with the same lobby my screen will say awaiting connection. As soon as the timer hits 13 it disconnects me and says error connecting to the host. I have had a problem with strict nat types with the router. I've done
everything from port forwarding to enabling upnp and also doing dmZ. Even doing the quick fix to get an open nat type i will log into the game it will still say moderate nat type and the same thing happens. Any suggestions?

Having trouble playing in Online games

I'm having trouble connecting in online matches and staying in online matches. I've tried everything and am at my wits end. Current games experiencing problems, Fifa 2015, Happy Wars, Destiny, PvsZ Garden Warfare

Very slow startup and games loading

I am not having any problems with the screen, but the games wont load. I tried playing Unity, and after 30 minutes it still wouldnt load. Same thing with advanced warfare.

 

As your router is known for causing massive problems with older firmwares it is strongly recommended to have it updated to the latest firmware to work properly with xbl.

It's also recommended to not use dmz and portforwarding at the same time as this may cause problems, to. So it's better to have only dmz enabled.

 

Yes I had each feature done separately. I did port forwarding when that didn't work deleted ports and did dmZ alone. The router is already on latest firmware

 

So what is your NAT status right now?

Have you contacted your isp on this issue already? If it was working before it may be a problem on their end.

 

It's still on strict. Like I said time to time it will go to open but show moderate when I'm playing AW. I plan on calling the ISP to see if they can actually manually fix the nat issue

 

They are also dead set on this garbage can gateway. I never had this issue with their previous modem.

 

What's your results when doing a multiplayer connection test? Please perform also an extended test by holding LT, LB, RT and RB simultaneously in the result screen and then wait for the detailed NAT status and post back the results here.

 

It comes back with the status that it's on a restricted port forwarding. I can hold the bumpers and triggers several times afterwards to get the cone status but that's sometimes

Ok this indeed should be an issue with your isp then. Maybe you are on a double natted or shared ip somehow.

 

I dunno maybe. I'll share what the results are after I call the isp. Maybe it will help others that may have a similar issue

So after talking to my ISp I figured they were useless. But good news is I was able to open the ports, by the most backwards thing possible. I enabled the firewall in my gateway and now my nat type is open and no issues with dropping. I disabled the firewall
again and back to the same issue. So for now I'm keeping the firewall enabled and no problems at all
