    Textures purchased on Xbox One available on Xbox 360 version?


    I've purchased quite a bit of the Minecraft DLC on the 360 version. When I upgraded, although some texture packs were noticeably nowhere to be found, the rest of what I had purchased was immediately available to me as a free download. Basically being available
    to me on both the 360 version and the xbox one version.

    My question is...that DLC was all purchased via the 360. If I purchase the newer DLC I do not own on the xbox one, will it be marked as purchased and available on the 360 version should I find myself slumming back in the last gen at any time? While I understand
    that one version is higher resolution, etc. when compared to the other, I would hate to think they would nickel and dime me on something like that and charge me for the same packs again. On the flip-side, if I decided to just purchase it all on the 360, would
    the upgrade still be in effect allowing me to just switch over and download them now for free on the xbox one edition or would they attempt to charge me yet again?

    Anyone else experience this or have any official word on this from somewhere?

    Texture packs not available on win 10 ??

    Look, I have read the updates, and it states that purchased texture packs and skins are available on xbox one, win 10, or mobile. So then, Why, are the only 2 purchases I have made, the Fantasy Texture Pack, and the Redstone specialist skin pack unusable
    on win 10? I purchased them on android and, by your wording, SHOULD be usable on any of the other supported platforms.

    Hello, I tried to purchase the Xbox One version of minecraft however it seems to be listed at full price even though I have already purchased the same game on the Xbox 360. I remember purchasing a number of extra skin and texture packs for the Xbox 360
    based on the offer that the Xbox one version was available at a discount for those who had already purchased it on the Xbox 360 and that the extras would actually be free on the Xbox one. I have managed to find a Microsoft site that indicates that this offer
    was rescinded on the 25th of February this year. This is disappointing as purchase decisions were made based on this offer that was not advertised as being limited in time. The only limit was that the DLCs had to have been released on the 360 (not purchased)
    prior to the release of minecraft on the Xbox one.

    As can been seen on this site the game should only cost AUD $6.65 and many of the DLCs I purchased should be available for free.

    Certain texture packs aren't available on the One.

    Purchase them on the 360, so you can also download them on the One. It won't work in the reverse.

    also be purchased separately. Thus, Xbox 360 texture packs are not compatible with the Xbox One version of Minecraft.

    The general consensus is 27/09 is when the GoD version will be available, but given the texture streaming issues with the PSN version and installing both discs on the XBox 360 it may be postponed until they can find a solution.

    You should be able to find any game you have purchased or downloaded for the Xbox 360 by going to settings - account - download history.

    Bear in mind however Dark Souls is also available for the Xbox One, so if you have purchased the Xbox One version, it will not be available on the Xbox 360.
