Texture pack problem minecraft

Dear Community, Since today i downloaded the just released minecraft better together version for the nintendo switch. And i know this is the xbox forum but Mojangs website directed me to the xbox site for solving my problem as there all the same version
now. My problem is that after putting my old world over and my resource packs that i bought for the minecraft switch console edition, some of those resource packs are not working like the Egyptian pack the Skyrim pack and the pattern pack. they instead give
purple and black square place holder textures and sometimes even crashing the switch.tough for example the greek mythology pack or the cartoon pack work just fine. i tried deleting minecraft and re downloaded but it didn't solve the problem. also got a second
question for those who know but is it correct that the current version for the console do not have the drowned yet? or feeding dolphins to befriend them? or soul sand for updraft and magma blocks for downdraft underwater? as those features seem to be missing
on the switch also.

Unable to Enter World / Deleted World: Recovery in XBOXONE Console?

Hey Guys,

I had the same problem with my savegames. I found a workaround that helped me to solve it:

1. delete the local savegames from your HDD

2. uninstall Minecraft and all texture packs

3. clean the xbox cache (hardreset)

4. install minecraft and all texture packs

Now you should be able to load your savegames.

If Minecraft is working fine without the texture pack, and only the textures are the issue, then MirrormasterOO7 needs to contact BDCraft first.

If MirrormasterOO7 is using Minecraft on the Xbox One, or the Windows 10 version, then Microsoft took the support for the "Bedrock" version of Minecraft.

Java Minecraft is Mojang's responsibility.

But since this problem is about a texture pack not working correctly, BDCraft has to provide support, and if there is a new incompatibility in a Minecraft version with their texture pack, BDCraft has to figure that out.

So MirrormasterOO7 has to contact BDCraft first, not Mojoang. And since Microsoft has bought Mojang, they are also providing the support.

The reason for this is that Minecraft texture packs are usually downloaded as .zip or .rar files, not .jar files. It's possible that the file you downloaded is not actually a texture pack, or that it was downloaded incorrectly.

To open a Minecraft texture pack in the Java edition, you should follow these steps:

Download the texture pack from a trusted website, such as the official Minecraft website or a reputable modding website.

Once the file has downloaded, open the Minecraft launcher and click on "Options" and then "Resource Packs".

Click on "Open Resource Pack Folder". This will open the folder where your Minecraft resource packs are stored.

Move the downloaded texture pack file into the folder.

In the Minecraft launcher, click on "Done" and then go back to the "Resource Packs" section.

You should now see the new texture pack in the list of available resource packs. Click on it to select it, and then click "Done".

The texture pack should now be applied to your game.

Download a texture pack (also known as a resource pack) in a compatible format such as .mcpack or .zip from a trusted source. Make sure the pack is designed for Minecraft Bedrock Edition.

Open the downloaded texture pack file. It should automatically open with Minecraft Bedrock if you have the game installed.

Minecraft Bedrock will import the texture pack and prompt you to apply it. Click the "Apply" or "Activate" button to enable the texture pack.

If the texture pack doesn't automatically open with Minecraft, you can manually import it. Copy or move the downloaded .mcpack or .zip file to the following location on your mobile device:

Android: Internal Storage/games/com.mojang/resource_packs

iOS: On iOS devices, the process requires a file management app like Documents by Readdle or iExplorer. Move the texture pack file to the "games/com.mojang/resource_packs" directory.

After moving the file, open Minecraft Bedrock and go to "Settings" > "Global Resources."

In the "My Packs" section, you should see the imported texture pack listed. Tap on it to activate it.

I checked through my purchase history and it does not show the Minecraft game for some reason, i assume it may be because i add Microsoft credit to my account and use that to purchase items.

However in my purchase history there is several Minecraft texture packages, so these should prove i have once owned the game, only a fool would buy texture packages for a game they did not own.

I also have 40% of Achievements for the game so i obviously played for a period of time.

I know i played the game online because when i was not connected to the internet my worlds did not appear.
