Test Drive Unlimited 2 backwords capability

Don’t want to repeat what has already been said by others but deffo worth making the suggestion on the Xbox Insiders Reddit
page. Anything is possible especially once the backwards compatibility program resumes. I like to remain optimistic about these things and believe if there is enough demand, Microsoft does have the means to make it happen

unfortunately at the moment Xbox is focusing on Next gen so backwards compatibilities are put on hold

In the case of Test Drive Unlimited, you also can't ask Microsoft, as they don't own the game.

The game was published by Atari, and you'll have to contact the original publisher to give Microsoft the permission to make a game backwards compatible.

Since the game has to be "translated" to work with the backwards compatibility emulator, Atari would have to re-negotiate the licensing with the car manufacturers again.

So I wouldn't hold by breath for TDU2 becoming backwards compatible. Ultimately, it's in Atari's hands, if the game can get the backwards compatibility treatment.

Microsoft is not bringing any more games to the back comp program at this time. They are focuse on Project Scarlet and will reopen the back comp program after release. Here is a current list of back comp games that you can enjoy.
