Terrible YouTube app update!

The most recent update to this app on Xbox One is terrible, and I knew it was going to be terrible the second I saw the change. It's even worse than the previous versions, and those were pretty bad. It's really hard to navigate, and some of the features
I liked about the older versions are missing. Such as the ability to look at related videos while you were watching a video, and to be able to find recommended videos. Also, when you're under the My subscriptions section, you don't get nearly as many videos
there as you use to, and you can't even load more, which is completely stupid, and when you are using a connected device, after you play a video through it, it just brings you to Current Watch History, and you can't move anything, or go back, the only way
to get back is by quitting the app and restarting the app. The version I'm currently talking about is the one with the red YouTube play button to the left, and you move over to it to navigate, and that's just terrible!

You should probably do something about the team that makes updates for this Xbox one app, because they have been terrible at it since day one of release. Please for the love of God, bring back the previous version, because this version is unbearable!

New Youtube app is terrible!

Youtube got a new "update" , but the only thing good about it is its new slick look. Other than that, its no good, too many recommended, the hub sucks and the sidebar is just like the youtube app on the mobile device. Every night (and i mean EVERY night)
i would go to sleep watching frankieonpcin1080p's Dayz playlist and the xbox wouldnt shut off, but with this new update it shuts off after the hour and occasionally stops playing the video. terrible all around.

Visiting this forum to write the same thing. The usefulness of this app has been greatly reduced. I subscribe to many channels and with the new update I can only see a tiny portion of my subscription stream. If I want to see my entire subscription stream,
which I always do, then I need to visit via another means. I used to use this app on a daily basis and I prefer watching videos on my TV, but to do so I need to see all the videos in my subscription stream. For me, fixing the subscription stream would resolve
my main gripes with the update.

 

UPDATE! It looks like they fixed the app - at least as far as the subscription list is concerned. I'm happy.

 

The terrible app changes are back! I was so excited when they returned to the old version, so it's really disheartening to see this reversion. I don't understand why they're flipping back and forth on this. The subscription stream is extremely limited and
virtually useless for those of us with many subscriptions.

 

I didn't think they could make the app worse than it already was but somehow they managed. The 360 version of the app was about perfect. I can't find the most recent videos for my subscribed channels. And navigation is a nightmare. All in all one of

They fixed the subscription feed! I'm happy!

 

The new version is horrible! The fixed some things but made everything else worse.

 

Wow, I can't believe that the subscription feed has been truncated once again! It's literally flipped 3 times in the span of a month! What's going on with this app! All I want is my subscription feed to show more than 12 or so videos.

 

The Xbox One / Youtube app has lost the functionality to preserve pairing. I really enjoyed this previously - but now every time I want to use my computer / phone with my Xbox One I have to redo the pairing every time. Not cool!
