    Terrible User Experience with xbox 1


    My 10 year old saved up to buy the console with his own $, 3 days later he still hasn't been able to play a single game. You brand the consoles as including specific games but you have to download it, and the files are freaking HUGE. Actually went out to
    but a game on DVD so he could play it right away...but ....NOPE.....install from disk takes forever and then....another ginormous download! MSFT, your user experience SUCKS TAINT! Put the game on the freaking HD that you advertise!!!!!!!! I'm shocked at how
    stupid this whole process has been. Playstation is the very clear winner here and I used to be a huge MSFT fan but you destroyed that.

    Doesn't matter if you were in a party or it was said as a joke.Swearing is no allowed on xbox live.

    There is no "profanity filter". There is no automated system when it comes to enforcement,every report is investigated by a actual person.

    You had a way to defend yourself,it was called a case review.

    Of course, own a PS4 as well but the process goes much faster. Kids were playing games the same day, not sure yet if they'll be able to play games on day 3 or 4 with xbox. Also not saying that PS shouldn't do better. If you buy a console with a packaged
    game it should be plug it in and play.

    Just wanted to add, I am a very technical person with 20+ years in technical fields, have had many different consoles, (MSFT and others) and I've never had a product take me from excitement (for my son in this case) to complete hatred so fast. At this point
    I'm torn between returning this POS system and just setting it on fire/filming and uploading it to share. I've been a MSFT user/fan forever, but this is terrible. Way to turn a ten year old kids excitement about getting a new console into hatred for a company.
    Don't think I've seen that happen before!

    What sort of download speed are you getting on your internet?

    And is the console hard wired or are you using Wi-Fi?

    As when I installed Halo 5 the download size was 107GB and it took approx. 90 mins from start to finish through a hard wired connection.

    That's interesting. I assumed there were dedicated servers for Halo.

    All I know is that the XBL experience for HTMCC is terrible. I spend at least 1/3rd of my time trying to get into games, which is not a great user experience..
