    Sent a xbox elite controller 2 away for repair as the RB was double inputting or not at all, they sent back a "fixed" one, except that the LB does the same thing now, after waiting a week how is this acceptable at all? are they just trying to run out the
    time on my warranty? is there anything I can do as I could not find any way to talk to an actual person at microsoft about this and was only able to find some "xbox gamers" thing that was them outsourcing the issues they cant fix to community members.

    These policies are in effect to protect people from stealing an account and transferring it to a different e-mail address. Support is not terrible, in fact the agent did everything he--yes he is quite human--could do. It is not Microsoft's fault that you
    "accidentally" associated it with someone else's e-mail account.

    P.S.

    You also gave up any "legal" right to sue Microsoft. Read the ToU.

    Codes don't expire for years. The store most likely won't refund the codes since there's too much chance of the codes being used then returned. You have no legal leg to stand on as Microsoft is simply declining to fix a mistake YOU made in a time frame
    you desire.

    To the Op wow that is a horrible experience, unfortunately everyone onm these forums console is fine so all you will get is the generic, i had mine since launch and it was fine thread. The problem is you having a genuine problem breaks the belief some hold
    that the XO is perfect.

    I depsite having no problems personally feel your pain and hope you get it sorted quickly, unfortunately tho it seems MS support has pulled the old 'go to the forums' trickl when they know full well nobody on the forums can help you.
