Discus and support Terrible Network Statistics in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; So I've tried absolutely everything I know to resolve this issue and nothing has worked.     So I've tried absolutely everything I know to resolve this issue and nothing has worked. Any feedback/advice is much appreciated.

    I started experiencing a lot of lag/latency when playing on my 360 and my one. Steps I've taken:

    Check with ISP

    -they replaced drop line from house to tap

    -checked signal which seems to be okay

    -purchased new modem which is functioning properly

    Check router

    -NAT type open

    -not using IPv6

    -port forwarding made no difference

    -UPnP didn't change anything

    -updated firmware

    Direct to modem

    -PC: 40ms 54down 5up

    -Xbox: 170ms 4down 3up

    I am really struggling to understand why only my two xbox systems are having terrible latency when everything else seems to be working properly. I've spent countless hours on the phone with both microsoft and my ISP, TWC, and no one has any answers or solutions.
    Please HELP!

  2. Xbox One not getting correct download speed using a wired netowrk.

    Hi! I recently tested my download speed on my pc, and I had a 3.05 download, and a 0.5 upload... ( I know terrible )


    but I went on xbox one this morning because I was lagging TERRIBLE on titanfall, bf4, and nba 2k14 and I did detailed network statistics and it says I have a 0.010 download, and 0.01 upload, so that roughly an 84 kb/s dl speed and a ping that is through the roof with 30 % packet loss, remember I am using a WIRED network here, can any of you help me or have a problem similar to this with a fix?

    Download speed - 122.62mbps Latency 159 ms Upload speed 11.56mbps Tested it on xbox is this good or bad lol ?

    Terrible Network Statistics

    Snickley Fritz, unfortunately You can't check latency to Xbox Services from PC, because Microsoft use UDP based protocol to simulate PING, not ICMP. Your internet provider can use packet shaping for UDP protocol because of torrents.

    In this situation only Your internet provider can help You to find root of problem. Internet provider capable to sniff the traffic and network engineers can check then why latency is high.

    That's great then. Can you please test your network speed and statistics?

    Settings > General > Network Settings > Test Network Speed & Statistics.

    That is a big disparity between the two. Most of the times, its within the levels of tolerance, knowing that you're testing against different services, but this seems like there is a different issue than just regular networking variation.

    Can you describe your basic setup? You say it's wired, which is good for better performance, but what is it hooked to, do you have a router and modem, or all in one? What make/model of equipment do you have? What sort of connection do you have to your ISP?
    ect.

    I'd also do a reboot of your router and Xbox at the same time, fully powering down and unplugging the Xbox, and not booting it back up until the router is fully back up and re-established connection to your ISP.

    The steps here are also a good place to start troubleshooting issues like this.

    Let us know and we'll see what the next best steps might be if the reboots or troubleshooting steps don't help!
    Well the speed issue has resolved now after doing a console reset and uninstalling everything etc.

    So my setup is the following.

    ADSL2+ - ISP

    WIRED CONNECTION - Xbox

    ASUS DSL-AC68U - Modem Router
