Terrible Experience with Xbox 360 over the Years

I have been a long time xbox 360 user, and purchased my first xbox 360 in 2007; however, my experience with the xbox consoles have been terrible. I keep my xbox 360 consoles in a well ventilated area, there is a great deal of space on each side of the console.
I also usually play the console 3 times a week with play sessions that are no longer than 2 hours.

My terrible history:

1.) I bought an Xbo 360 Pro at the end of 2007, only for it to get the RROD a year after the purchase; I received a box in the mail to ship it back to microsoft and received a new console in a few weeks. This xbox 360 Core lasted about 2 years, when it finally
broke. The console would not turn on, and it was out of warranty at this point.

2.) I decide to buy an Xbox 360 Elite at near the end of 2010. This console lasts about 2.5 year before it breaks, this time it is because the console will not read any discs. Of course my console is not under warranty anymore so I can do nothing about it
to fix the console.

3.) I purchase the Xbox 360 E model. The unit I purchase, overheats and shuts off 15-20 minutes after turning it on constantly. I take it back to the store and exchange for a new unit. This unit lasts less than a year until recently the disc drive makes
an extremely loud noise when trying to play a game off disc. I contact microsoft and there is an issue with the disc drive and I need to send it fro repair. This time Microsoft will not send a box to ship the console back to them.

As a result, I contact Fedex and it will be about $15 to box and pack the xbox 360 to send back to microsoft. I decide to find a box that I can use to ship at home; in the process I drop my xbox 360 trying to see if it fits into the box and damage the console.
Now I have voided the warranty and I can send it for repair but I will be charged for the repair. I completely get the accidental damage is a result of me being clumsy, but if they would have just shipped a box like they did in the past I would not have had
this mishap.

Furthermore they offer nothing to help; not that I would completely expect to, but considering my track record with them, it would be nice if they offered something to help my situation. They have record of everything and acknowledge my series of issues
with their consoles. It really is the definition of an absolute joke. I understand launch consoles can have their faults, but that doesn't excuse that still currently I can't seem to buy a console that doesn't break from a defect.

I am just considering not gaming with microsoft from this point on as it is quite ridiculous I can not purchase a console and have it last more than 2 years. I have spent at least 1,000 on xbox 360 consoles, and at this point if I want to play any of my
360 games, I will have to spend another $250 to buy a new consoles. And hope it doesn't break or have a defect and then deal with poor service? Doesn't seem worth it!

Doesn't matter if you were in a party or it was said as a joke.Swearing is no allowed on xbox live.

There is no "profanity filter". There is no automated system when it comes to enforcement,every report is investigated by a actual person.

You had a way to defend yourself,it was called a case review.

This is unacceptable. Can we just agree that streaming the same videos over and over again is not working and that it should be storing workouts locally. At first it was constant buffering now it's simply crashing out of the workouts. Terrible experience.

Support were right.The only way to contact the enforcement team is via a case review.If you have already done that & the decision was upheld then there is nothing else you can do.You will have to wait out the suspension.

Any report filed is investigated before any enforcement action is issued.If you have filed for a case review then that means it has been investigated twice.You would not just get suspended because someone reported you as a joke.

Two things in response.

1- The first investigation they did originally was using a profanity filter, which caught one of the 3 words in the message nearly 2 seconds after the report. I'm ok with that part. But if they thoroughly investigated my case review the second time and listened
to the party chat we had and the message logs, they would find that it was all a joke. However, they didn't, and that's why my decision is upheld. If they truly investigated it again, I wouldn't be banned.

2- Why don't they have another way to respond to them? They are going to be wrong sometimes, but many people (including me) still get screwed over by the short limit we have to explain ourselves and the fact that they don't have another way to talk to them.
You get one case review, and that's it. No number to call, no way to reply, nothing. If you get wrongly reported and banned, you don't stand a chance of getting your ban removed. You're straight out of luck. It's not a good way to run a support team or a business
and I'm truly pissed off about this whole ordeal. Guess I'll just spend my 2 weeks on ban playing Playstation and PC because Xbox gives me no chance to defend myself. Way to go Enforcement Team, way to go.

Hey dude,

The preview program is a testing platform for us to test the new updates before they are released to the general public. We're basically beta testing it before for its released, so its almost certain that some of the updates will have bugs, but that is exactly
why we're testing it. It sucks, I'm not saying it doesn't, but its part and parcel of being in the preview program.

I'm sure a support agent will be along soon, who will be able to assist you with access to the forums, from which you can then post up these issues. Also make sure to report the problems using your console preview program application, and provide the relevant
details and images to help get the issues fixed

As I said man, it sucks, but the preview program isn't about getting everything early, but testing it to ensure that its all working as it should be before its released fully
