    Terrible Customer service


    Recently I bought Call Of Duty Cold War digitally from the Xbox website for my Series X. On the store page it says it works via backwards compatibility. I played the intro mission fine then after that the game would crash and turn my Xbox off every 30
    seconds. I tried multiplayer and the same thing happened. So naturally I contact support with my issue and they said that it was an ongoing issue with the game and that I bought the wrong version of the game. I then mentioned that the store page said it works
    with the Series X. I was then advised to ask for a refund via the automated process and to purchase the Xbox series X/S version of the game, Which I did and works great. My refund request was then denied with no explanation and a blank email. I call support
    again and asked why my request was denied and was told that it was because I had got 1 achievement from the game which you get from the intro mission of the game. I have never had such a terrible experience with Xbox support before. I have a legitimate faulty
    product and no means of returning it.

    There is a sticky thread in both enforcement forums telling you they are no longer in use.

    They probably should be locked down but aren't for some reason.

    At least you now know this for the future.

    Support are nothing to do with xbox live enforcement which is why they can't help.

    You were warned,your warning is the ToU/CoC that you agreed to when you started your account.

    You will not get a refund for anything i'm afraid & the rules are exactly the same on PSN although you do not get as many 2nd chances there.

    As long as your console is set to offline mode you can still play the majority of games although you obviously can't play online multiplayer.

    As the enforcement team do not use the forums you would need to look on the enforcement site to see why you were suspended & to file for a case review if eligible
