Terraria Update!

the game has been out since 2011, and while it's gotten a fair amount of updates, it's not very consistent. it had one update in all of 2012 then 8 in october 2013...just gotta go with the flow and see what happens next, whenever that might be.

 

Havent played in a while but will definitely check it out Wilko.Also this is the last month to purchase BurgerTime World Tour.Great little game for fans of the classic arcade.Its 3D now and will be 4.99 until April 30.Then its gone forever.*sob

 

Fair point mysers, and to be fair to Mojang they are doing incredible with the way they slash out their DLC. I am one of the first to slap the very concept of DLC but I will give them their due, they cater for those that don't want to pay nearly just as
much they do for those that do.

If the updates aint consistent then that can factor into who continues to play. If I was a dev I would make sure to farm as much love from the fans as possible with steady updates for at least the first 18 months, then slowly back it down a pace or two whilst
working on other things. Though I have zero knowledge on dev work so that's just presumption.

Yeah-it gets pulled at the end of the month.Another great game lost.

 

Shame, its always gutting to hear a good game being pulled. Guess that's one off the predictions for GwG eh

Hail, I don't think account status comes into it. I'm not so sure. Either way what you are seeing above, is a known issue. It's happened a few times all over the place and my 'M' has been around the block a few times I almost want to file for a divorce,
unfaithful thing it is... lol.

Joking aside, this should be addressed in an upcoming CUL update.

 

Yeah thanks Wilko.If not for you I I wouldnt have known about the update deleting my saves.They are still there but load failures on all of them.Now I am really angry and feel like smashing random pieces of fruit at my local grocery store.My night is ruined.

 

On the upside I was able to salvage a harpoon gun and a phaseblade.

my world/character just got messed up, though it might've been my fault...i was doing the piggy bank glitch and somehow my spawn point failed and i lost my high level tools and weapons. adamantite drill, molten hamaxe, phasesaber, mythril repeater...all
gone. gotta say it's left me really deflated on the game. now i guess i need to get back into hard mode to get my stuff back...

 

I made a new character and world after the update because I could not access my old world. I started playing for a while and then I heard that camp fires were the reason why my old worlds were showing failed loading messages. I was going to try deleting
the update and removing the campfires in my old world. Now all my character profiles are gone and I still can't access my old worlds.
