Terraria freezes system at start of game

playing downloaded full version of terraria freezes when you start game, I have cleared system cache, deleted game and downloaded again same freeze at start, I have moved settings from hardrive to cloud and back again same freeze at start, I have deleted
worlds, updates from storage same freeze at start, no other game does this only terraria console needs to be physically powered down

At least you guys can play something. I freeze at the opening video when the game first starts. I play other games on my XB1 so it cant be the system. Any help would be great.

Please do the following in order.

(1) I would like you to delete your Xbox profile from your console. To Learn How To Download, move, or delete your Xbox LIVE profile Click
Here

(2) Clear your Xbox 360 system cache To Learn How To clear your Xbox 360 system cache Click Here

(3) Attempt to download your profile back to your console,

When you delete your Xbox profile from your console clear your Xbox 360 system cache & attempt to download your profile back to your console, This should Fix the problem at hand, I`d also like to note that
you should Sign out of your Xbox Profile to be able to delete your profile.

did not work, I did all the steps and it still freezes, the issue seems to be connected to the character settings file, If I delete everything like worlds, settings etc and only have the character settings file left (which is the one I want to keep) if I
keep that file it freezes, if I move it to the cloud and choose cloud it freezes, if I keep it on the hardrive but choose use cloud when game starts up the game runs fine, its only when I point it the location which has my character settings does it freeze,
but the character settings file is what I want it has all my stuff

I got a message from another player his morning saying they are having the same exact issue as I am with terraria

Ii have this similar problem, but what I did was to move the character data to the cloud storage and just start from scratch. I know it is not a good process but for me it seems to be the only way.

Or you can try and sign inn using another account, iffy it does not freeze then it is something related to your account

Happening to me all of a sudden too.....This game is fast becoming more of a nuisance than its worth

Ok I found the problem its your characters that prevent the game from loading
