Terraria - after update game freezes on Xbox one.

The game freezes on my Xbox one after a recent update. I've restarted the Xbox and done the 10sec power button shut down. is there a known fix for this?

Hello, I tried just reinstalling that didn'twork.

I then tried your suggestion but that did not work either.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue. You could try uninstall the game,

power cycle the console. Once the console is back on and to the home then install the game again.

Did you try power cycling your Xbox? (Holding the power button until the console shuts off and unplugging the power cord for 30 seconds)

Also is the game installed on your internal or an external hard drive?

To play Terraria for xbox one you need to purchase the xbox one version of the game.

I have found two instances now that multiplayer has had errors like this- The one you are describing and one in Terraria. In Terraria the second, third, or fourth player COULD NOT JOIN until you went online and signed them in (online) or signed a Guest in,
quit, then went back on the world (offline).

These instances BOTH involved major updates to the games and may have something to do with Xbox 360 Programming.
