    Teredo Tunneling Adapter not in Legacy Hardware but is enabled on PC


    So lately I wasn't able to play online in Forza Horizon 4 and then I realized it was a problem with the Teredo Tunneling Adapter. When I went to download it from Legacy Hardware in the Device Manager in the Networks section, nothing at all showed up. Then I enabled it and disabled it from the CMD and enabled it again.... still nothing. Then I tried enabling it from the Registry and then Group. Teredo works but it still needs the Tunneling adapter. Is it possible to acquire the .inf file and download it myself, if yes IT WOULD BE OF AMAZING HELP!!!!

    PS. Don't direct me to some driver fixing app that charges you money simply for downloading a driver.

    May I know if you already tried reinstalling your wireless/ethernet driver? Usually when you reinstall it, Teredo tunneling adapter is reinstalled too

    maybe because I don't have teredo tunneling adapter and I can't find it in legacy hardware.

    (PC) We couldn't sign you in to Xbox Live without any error code :(

    I also doesn't seem to have Microsoft Teredo Tunneling Adapter.
    Can't even install it using Add legacy hardware, it's just not there. :'(

    Personally it didn't help my problem. I looked at my adapters and I didn't even have the Teredo tunnel adapter installed. I manually installed it and everything worked. Instructions for that taken from:

    Open up your device manager

    Click the action tab at the top and click Add Legacy Hardware

    Click next and next again it will then scan and find nothing

    Click next on the screen after that

    Wait a minute and you will see a list of hardware appear, scroll down and choose network adapters then click next

    On the left column choose Microsoft then in the right hand column scroll down and choose Microsoft Teredo Tunneling Adapter, then click next and this will install it.

    Reboot your PC
