Teredo on Windows 10

    TEREDO DOES NOT EXIST ON MY MACHINE!!!!

    I play on PC and have been getting disconnected from XBOX voice chat, just voice. This only started happening after the new GAME BAR was installed. Everything will work fine if I don't use the normal XBOX app, only the GAME BAR. But the GAME BAR is horrible
    and I am missing many features the XBOX app contains.

    YES I have tried the following...

    Setting IP HELPER to auto, it runs fine

    REG EDIT and setting the disabledcompnents to 0 and all that Jazz (Was always at 0 to begin with)

    Deleting Teredo from device manager.....(doesn't exist on my machine)

    Adding it VIA Legacy hardware.....(yes, hidden items are shown)

    I have done the "set teredo client" to no avail

    I have seen posts on this issue dating back several years...and still can't find a solution. Please help.

    I'm not using a VPN server with it.

    I tried the things in the reddit post and a couple related MS posts as well (How to enable Teredo windows 10 - Microsoft Community) (Teredo Tunneling Adapter Is Missing - Microsoft Community)

    The post there was really for Windows 10 Pro. Do you know what the "Type" should be in Teredo settings for Windows 10 Home? (enterpriseuser for Pro...I've also tried client. "default" makes it "disabled" again).

    So ironically, on my home PC, I checked the XBox Networking, and it says Teredo is unable to qualify/server connectivity: blocked, but the game is working just great.

    I'm so confused.

    Thanks for reaching out to us in the forums for this issue regarding a Teredo message. Teredo is a networking protocol that’s used to establish secure communications between clients and servers, and to facilitate connectivity between devices
    behind routers that use network address translation (NAT). Without it, or if its blocked, you won't be able to participate in many multiplayer features or party chat in Xbox Live. This is a setting in your network hardware, as well as a driver on your PC.
    If it doesn't exist on your PC, then you would need to download and install this in order for it to work.

    Here are some applicable support articles that can help you with any Teredo issues and provide further information:

    Xbox Live server connectivity on Windows 10 is blocked
