Teredo issue

New Xbox One for Christmas, able to access Live no problem but multiplayer test brings up " Cannot get a Teredo IP Address". Using a BT HomeHub 4 and have opened ports as follows;

UDP Port Range 88 - 88

UDP Port Range 3074 - 3074
TCP Port Range 3074 - 3074
UDP Port Range 53 - 53

TCP Port Range 53 - 53

TCP Port Range 80 - 80

UDP Port Range 500 - 500

UDP Port Range 3544 - 3544
UDP Port Range 4500 - 4500

Getting absolutely nowhere. Have tried placing in DMZ, no help.Some advise suggests a factory reset but not a week old.

Can anyone help.

I have been trying to go online with my friends on Forza Horizon but there is an issue with the Teredo address. I tried to follow the instructions on the microsoft website but I can't find any teredo networking devices on device manager. I tried to uninstall
xbox using powershell but when I reinstalled, xbox app won't let me sign in saying We can't sign you in right now (0x406). Please assist me in solving these two issues

 

Same issue here - Full xbox live connectivity - can see which friends are online and what they're doing, can access store, but can't play online games.

Check network connection in settings - "All is fine, you are connected to the internet"

Check multiplayer connection - Teredo error.

Check detailed network connection - no internet connection.

I have gone through the teredo error resolution walkthrough on the xbox site several times, but still no change.

Have opened all the above ports, set UPnP to enable, even tried DMZ, but still same result.

I even ran the offline update diagnostic on the console, but still no change.

Same issue with both wireless and wired connections - even with assigned IP addresses, and having router open every port for the assigned IP's.

Had no problems before xmas, but after everything went down, have been unable to play any games.

Is there anything that can be done - aside from a factory reset? I don't want to lose everything off the console and have to reinstall everything from scratch again - that will waste DAYS - ontop of the DAYS that have already been wasted trying to get it
fixed.

Hope someone can help!!

 

no one can help the only way it seems may be a factory reset but i refuse my ne xbox one isnt a week old hell no i demand better service

This problem was 4months old never solved come few days after christmas ive seen almost 100 reports of the same problem it truly is microsofts fault no excuses they made defective consoles again.

 

Hello, my son is having the same issue. anyone find a fix for this yet? the only thing different with me is I have two xbox360s in the house and only one is acting this way.

A few other things I've noticed: On my UPnP portmap for my router, none of the ports in use, or attempting to be used correspond to my xbox, even though it is powered up, and one would assume, should be trying to access those ports - which I have opened
in the port forwarding options of the router.

Secondly, when checking the console information in the system settings, the latest update is displaying as 1/01/1601. Odd, I wasn't aware that xbox consoles existed in 1601.

sucks but funny im having same problem that has been persisting for a day now.

 

i just played my cat5 from my xbox 360 and pulled it into the xbox one port and i was playing games right away didnt have to change anything, and when xbox live wasnt up i wait till the next day and on see was all i had to do is wait for them to work on
it, and if it crashed again i did the same thing.

 

The 'Teredo' tunnelling thing is the newest ip networking/internet-networking thing ( IPv6 ). You don't need it, as most of the internet is still IPv4.

 

what the heck do you mean tunneling xbox doesnt just screw up at 11pm last night and have perfect connection and the come to have teredo error

 

you dont need it but xbox one says you need a teredo ip adress hurr durr other wise you cant play multiplayer. Thats what ive been reading so far. The only option is factory reset due the fact that no one would have it.
