Teredo IP address problem

My xbox one will connect to xbox live and says my connection is good. But when i test my multiplayer connection an error message reads " Can't get a Teredo IP address". I have tried all of the steps in the trouble shooting process and nothing has worked.
I have a brand new linksys AC1200+ (or EA6350) router that i just bought a few days ago.

After having Xbox One for a couple months, it now can't find/get Teredo IP Address (error message) for multi-player connection?

I just started getting this as well yesterday, and I've had mine since day one, with no major problems until this. I can't play any of my games or apps, and I get a message that says "We couldn't get your latest save data".

 

Does this happen out of a sudden and was working before? Even with the new router? If so, the only solution is a factory reset of your Xbox.

If this is only happening since you exchanged the router and has never worked on the new router it should be a misconfigured router. Please check especially if port 3544 UDP may be blocked or if the Teredo tunneling may be blocked as protocol.

 

It happened with the old router as well. I thought the old router was the problem because I had lived at college last year and didn't have any problems with the xbox.

 

Well, as I said above. If you did not have problems before and are on the same router and connection you need to do a factory reset on the One.

If you are on a new connection you should do the same first. If it still persists then, we need to drive deeper into your connection and router configuration.
