Teredo address not obtained in XBOX app

How do I obtain the teredo address? I'm trying to play Killer Instinct multiplayer

Personally it didn't help my problem. I looked at my adapters and I didn't even have the Teredo tunnel adapter installed. I manually installed it and everything worked. Instructions for that taken from:

Open up your device manager

Click the action tab at the top and click Add Legacy Hardware

Click next and next again it will then scan and find nothing

Click next on the screen after that

Wait a minute and you will see a list of hardware appear, scroll down and choose network adapters then click next

On the left column choose Microsoft then in the right hand column scroll down and choose Microsoft Teredo Tunneling Adapter, then click next and this will install it.

Reboot your PC

I'm also having an issue.

However mine is intermittent and just started about 3 days ago.

I've followed all the steps troubleshooting.

I'm at a loss as to what is happening and why sometimes it works then doesn't.

I've been using the Xbox app for a couple of months now and never had an issue.

Could this be an Xbox issue or possibly my isp?

 

Hi MrBustedSmokin, If the tips did not help trying using the Xbox App Beta to narrow down the possibilities. You can DL the beta version by going to the store and searching "Xbox App Beta". If you observe the issue with the beta version please help us out
and report this issue by using the "Report a problem" in the beta app. We will take your info and report this to the developers requesting an investigation.

It's been awhile and I've been sending info through the beta app.

I'm still having the issue.

I've sent info when it was working then when it stops.

I'm stumped I've gone though all the steps again.

I understand network stuff pretty well.

One thing about sending info though the app is I don't get feedback on what may have been found.

Is it possible to get that feedback??

Has anything been found when I report teredo not working. Or even when it is?

I use the app to party chat even though I have an xbox one.

Any extra help would be awesome.

Some more info.

After first boot of the day Teredo wasn't working so I went & checked device manager.

I found that teredo was there but faded out and I had this error under the properties tab.

Currently, this hardware device is not connected to the computer. (Code 45)

To fix this problem, reconnect this hardware device to the computer.
