Tenure reset and extremely annoyed.

I was supposed to change to 9 years this month.

I had prepaid codes for the past 2 months but I was unable to add them because I needed to let my current prepaid card expire. I changed my payment options while it was active so that's why it wouldn't accept those codes or credit card to extend it before
it ran out. Read about it

I contacted support directly about it 3 times and they all checked codes and said they were ok but I needed to let my current gold expire before I could use them. 3 times they assured me my tenure wouldn't reset.

My gold expired for an hour for the first time in 9 years. My tenure reset. I contacted support and they said it expired and was reset. They said sorry and they couldn't help me.

Basically there was no way around it. It's total BS. She also said to contact the forums for help.

My Xbox live tenure is gone after renewal

My Tenure reset to 1 yesterday after renewing a 12 month membership I had 3 years tenure, I reset the cache and redownloaded my account and its not working

 

This is really odd because Tenure shouldn't reset - it should only pause until you come back to Gold again... You could try a hard reset and/or recovering your profile. Your tenure may recycle back to 9 when things sync up as sometimes there is a bit of
lag when redeeming subscriptions as I'm sure you're aware.

Another reason why things may not be showing correctly could be down to the service alert that is currently showing.

Thanks Meanmachine. Hopefully there is just lag but they said it was reset. I'll give it another few days and see what happens.

 

I had this last year.First my tenure didn't change,then it vanished,then it came back & eventually changed a couple of weeks after it should of.

Friends have had similar issues but it always sorts itself out so hopefully it will for you.
