Tenure on my profile erased - how can I get it back?

I had an issue with the Microsoft and Xbox store not recognizing my gold status. After contacting support they fixed the issue by canceling my account and giving me a 12 month prepaid code to reinstate it. It worked but it also reset my tenure on my account.
How can I get this back?

Tenure Reset After Family Plan Used

I was signed up in the family plan, and my tenure has reset to 0, or at least it shows I have no tenure. Everyone on the family plan has been reset. I've followed all of the suggestions, deleting profile, clearing cache, etc. Nothing works. How can I
get my tenure back? Thank you.

I re-downloaded my profile and when i did it erased all my in game saved data... how do i get that back???

Unfortunately since you technically are on a new account the tenure has been reset. I would contact support again to see if there is anything they can do for you:

To clarify, because your tenure technically lapsed, it won't show until your next anniversary renewal. Your overall tenure is still associated with your account though

Thanks guys. It would seem after much hounding I finally did get a hold of the right person and it has been fixed. It now shows again on both xbox.com and on my Xbox One.

Hey there Dizzy! I've never heard of the tenure resetting like this. Going Free stops it from counting more time, but it shouldn't erase it altogether. Can you try moving your profile to a USB device, removing the USB device, and then try recovering your
profile. Let me know if this helps show your tenure again. Thanks!

Congrats on getting your tenure fixed. Can I ask what they did for you when it was resolved? Were you contacted by support? Did you re-download your profile? Or you just signed in and noticed it was back? My issue is similar to yours, tenure is reduced,
and I posted a thread and support confirmed I should see a 8 for tenure. It's been a few days since I've heard anything so I'm wondering how your situation was fixed. Thanks.
