Tenure has changed

About three weeks ago, I noticed my Tenure changed from 7 to 4. I've had my account in good standing and without interruption for almost 8 years. If anyone from Support or Engineering sees this, you can check my purchase history and Achievement history to
verify this. Please help...I'm proud of my Tenure and hope you guys can help. Thanks in advance.

Does anyone know why the tenure has been changed? My tenure was changed from 8 years to 6.

tenure is Incorrect by one i need help

My 5 years tenure has changed to 4 i tried deleting and downloading profile procedure but it doesn't helped, tenure is still wrong. hope this get fix soon

Hey Phade! Account Tenure represents the total amount of time you have been a gold subscriber, not the total age of the account. That is why you are seeing that discrepancy, though this change was made a few years ago. Thanks!

Understood. Like I said, I have been a Gold subscriber without interruption for almost 8 years. It had been reading 7 until a few weeks ago and I have no idea why.

Xbox live has been going on for 7 years and I think that Microsoft has changed it to fix the tenure problems

Tenure is now calculated from gold time only, if there was any time in between then and now that you were silver/ free account then your tenure has been changed to what it should correctly show
