Ratings are subjective and based on opinion. Some people may very well think a game is worthy of a 10.

Ten Years~!

Not everyone that had their Xbox LIVE accounts in a gold status for 10 years received a special edition console. There were just a select few, the information is on

Hmmm... If I can only say one game... I'll go with Red Dead Redemption, but I have a few more I'd give a 10 to.

 

Halo 3, Age of Empires II and Dark Souls.

 

I agree. One persons 10 is another chaps 1 but most games suggested in here so far seem to be pretty good ones. A lot of award winning titles in the mix.

Crash Bandicoot is a great game. Not played that in so so long! Wasn't a huge fan of the look of the ones on 360 though.

 

RDR - 10

For story, voice acting, dialogue, immersive environment

 

Thinking about it, I might give Spyro 2 a perfect score. I can't think of anything wrong with it anf my gosh, did I play the heck out of it as a kid.

And Portal. Probably the best case of post-modernism in video games from a design stand-point.

 

"Morrowind: Game Of The Year Edition".

Quite possibly the greatest game ever made.

Mark and Return allowed you to put a "Mark" spell in your house and if you were ever under threat of death, lost, or just so over-encumbered that you were going nowhere you just cast the "Return" spell and it took you instantly to the Mark spot.

Jumping spells that allowed you to hurtle 100's of feet in the air before you fell to an ignominius death if you didn't have a "Slowfalling" spell.

"Levitation". Did what it said on the tin. The Tevlani towers had no stairs so that those ignorant of magic could not bother the Mages who lived above. Fighter characters could only stare up in vain but Wizards could levitate and liaise with all the people
and goodies on the floors above.

In "Skyrim" I can build a big house.

In "Morrowind" they built a palace for me and outfitted it with Dwemer guardians.

What an amazing game.

 

Azrael, you skipped over Oblivion. What did you think of that? My console version went mostly untouched. My pc version is so modded it's like playing a different game altogether. Some of the mods I found were completely brilliant.

 

"Oblivion" remains one of the greatest Role Playing Game released.

The game had the potential to be completely character driven with your character's experience being shaped by the backstory, personality and desires that you gave them.

As such it had the potential to deliver an incredibly different play experience on subsequent playthroughs.

A masterpiece in Roleplaying Entertainment that unfortunately provided more than enough rope for those who couldn't roleplay to hang themselves with no doubt leading to the over-written and in your face nature of most quests in "Skyrim".

It's easy to say "Skyrim" was 'dumbed down' simply because it was more accessible. Attracting a wider audience isn't a negative thing and it's great to see that with each installment of "The Elder Scrolls" they are adapting and evolving and providing something
new.

 

You always struck me as a woman of wealth and taste.

 

I actually have another 10 out of 10 and that has to be portal 2, loved that game so much I am thinking of buying again and starting anew gamertag just to get the chievos again
