As WPAK stated there is no way to set up the screen time or any of that for an adult account. As for transferring the items be careful with that, if you are wanting to transfer everything like games, dlc, progress they wont transfer.

Hi there,

as far as I know there is no way to enable screentime on an Adult account, but there might be an alternative in this specific situation.

Any fortnite progress and skins etc is linked to the Epic account and not directly the Xbox Live Account, so an alternate option could be to move the Epic account to your son's Xbox Live Account,
that will not have him loose any skins etc.
